I was devastated after my visit. I'd only heard amazing things about Dr. Louie, from friends and…read moredoctors. My chronic pain and struggles with mobility was causing so much hopelessness, but I managed to get in with Dr. Louie and I finally felt hopeful again. I waited for months for this appointment. I'll talk about the staff on the post for the facility because that wasn't good, either. I'd come to this doctor for a second opinion as the first rheumatologist wasn't certain what was going on, but only said SOMETHING was. Dr. Louie didn't listen to me at all. He asked me a question and before I could answer, he said that if I told him yes and couldn't prove that I had the symptom, that he would never believe anything I said to him again. I told him I didn't have the symptom. I didn't even think about it. I couldn't be certain I could prove anything and I wanted this appointment more than anything. He defended my previous rheumatologist to me with no understanding of what I was struggling with and I'm wondering if he knew my previous doctor. I told him that I'd heard he was the best and he told me I'd been lied to. Again, that might have been his sense of humor, but I was already getting a very different experience than my friends had told me I'd get. He rattled off questions so quick and they were all diagnostic criteria. I tried to give actual answers, but he would talk over me and say, "So no!" and then kept going. I finally agreed with him that nothing was really that wrong with me. Although he kept calling my bloodwork "interesting. Scary, but interesting." And then he told me goodbye and was gone. I left, went downstairs to my car and sobbed. I needed someone to listen and understand what I was dealing with. I needed someone who actually cared. Everyone from friends to doctors promised that's what I would get. Months of waiting to be treated like I was worthless. My pain came back full force a few weeks ago. It doesn't even matter because I'm never going back to a rheumatologist. If the guy who is called one of the best is going to treat me like I'm not important, what's the point. I will never recommend him to anyone again. I'm sorry I ever did.

My polite repeated calls to Dr. Jeffries -to get his medical assistance -answered by compassionate women--Dr. Jeffries stonewalled me. He never called me back. Plus the portion of the patient portal where you can write Dr. Jefffries is shut down. If you think you might have a problem or follow up question--I would look for another doctor.

Been a patient for almost 2 years and they have never ordered blood work for me (which is necessary…read morebefore I take my infusion). I've gotten 3 infusions since being a patient of his. My last virtual appointment was February of this year and no follow up appointment was made. I recently scheduled an appointment and they made the appointment with Dr. Jeffries's PAs (Dr. Jeffries isn't available until April) and the one was focused on nothing but my most recent MRI from 7 months ago which they should have already reviewed and made sure they received. You'll only meet with Dr. Jeffries once a year maybe but the rest of your appointments will be with his PAs. It is also very odd that the earliest availability for existing patients to see Dr. Jeffries is 5 months out (I scheduled in November). I am use to receiving care from the Neurologist themselves and they are usually tracking my blood work and MRIs very closely. With that, I've found a new Neurologist who I feel will provide said device and care.
