Dr. Gabai himself is fantastic and it's easy to see why he is booked solid on some days. He treats each patient as if you're the only there that day, with calm, dedicated attention. And of course, his approach with first understanding what brings you there, what you can expect, how he does adjustments, and next steps/ recommendations is why we have come back to him. He walked us through his assessment of our child, where adjustments could help and what to look for when the appointment is done to gauge progress. I was paired with Dr. Mark, and from the first visit, I knew I was in good hands. My experience began with computer-measured range of motion tests and x-rays, which made me feel a bit like a science project, but in a good way. Dr. Mark went over every detail with me, explained what he saw, and laid out a plan that made sense. He asked for my thoughts, checked my comfort level, and didn't just nod politely while thinking of lunch. He actually listened. During each session, Dr. Mark continues to explain exactly what he is about to do and why. This may sound simple, but it builds a kind of trust that is rare in medicine. I have also been treated by Dr. Steve twice when scheduling required a switch, and his professionalism and calm manner left me equally reassured. It has now been a bit over six weeks since I first hobbled through their door. I can move like a human being again. After twelve visits, I was retested and showed significant improvement. Dr. Mark suggested reducing visit frequency to maintain progress rather than overselling more appointments, which says something about his integrity. My old dr in Linwood also bought into a health source franchise a few years ago and it turns out the two dr's know each other. I should have just asked him for a recommendation and saved myself the trouble of going to the two bad dr's first. Dr. Blecher is fantastic! He already knew my issues before I went there. We talked before my acupuncture appointment and he might have called my old Dr. On the day of my appointment I filled out (on iPad) a comprehensive, but easy and fast don't worry, summary of my complaints. We then went over EVERYTHING, and I have a lot of problems. Between talking with Dr. Blecher and the actual treatments I was with him about an hour. No one has ever spent that amount of time with me for chiro!!!! The best part is he got my neck to crack (and I am NOT an easy person to adjust. I am down right difficult). Had a second visit today and went as well as the first. I am feeling a million times better than I did a week ago! Dr. Blecher knows what he is doing!!! And is very personable! My ENT doctor was also skeptical when I asked if he thought I could find relief from my daily vertigo and dizziness episodes through a chiropractor. He actually waved the idea away as if it were ridiculous. But what is ridiculous is that neither he nor my neurologist could make my daily episodes of vertigo, motion sickness, and overall dizziness stop. I gave them a year, tried all their drugs and exercises and then threw in the towel and gave Upper Cervical Chiropractic a shot. I remember walking into their office two months ago. I had taken my rescue medication in hopes I wouldn't have an episode in their office. We live an hour away and my husband drove me. I was terrified to be so far from home and dizzy. Despite the medication, I was shaking like a leaf from nervousness. We met Dr. Arbeitman first. He came out to the waiting room to greet us by name- even my husband. This definitely wasn't some practice with tired employees just trying to make it through the workday. The receptionists are so nice and personable and always seem happy to be there. They presented a care plan of so many visits for x amount of dollars. They made big promises. Someone had told me that if a medical practice offers a package deal like that, to RUN. Perhaps it was because if I ran, I would land on my butt from dizziness, but I didn't run. I paid. And so began the absolute best medical care I have ever received. I was a little worried about cracking joints. It gives me the heebie-jeebies to think about it. I can't even stand listening to someone crack their knuckles. But there is no cracking at all. It feels like a light massage. It's very relaxing and I look forward to my appointments. There's a total of 5 doctors and I love each of them (I have a favorite but I'm not telling which ). When you walk into the office, you swipe a card and the (AMAZING) receptionists direct you to a treatment room where you swipe again. There's a monitor there which displays your information for the doctor. The doctors are prompt; the wait is usually less than 2 minutes. They're always happy to see you and they remember details about you from idle chit chat. It's unlike any medical doctor I've ever had and I just love it. I also found out that have morning meetings where they discuss all the patients coming in that day and what the treatments will be that day. Seriously, what conventional doctor does that?? After a month of 3 x week treatments, I didn't need to take preventative medication to go in. Six weeks later, I was still having daily dizziness but the spells lasted less than 10 minutes. And today, 3 months later, I haven't been dizzy for 2 weeks. I'm getting my life back. The progress we've made is undeniable. This healing journey for me has soured me on my current doctors. How dare they proclaim that I'll just have to learn to live with this dizziness? How dare THEY not do the research and advise me that a chiropractor could help. I lost a year and a half of my life because of their skepticism and because of my misplaced trust. So yes, definitely RUN when presented with a treatment plan from an upper cervical chiropractor, but run TO them, not from them. Dr. Arbeitman's practice is a lifesaver and all those five-star reviews are most definitely warranted.

That finally forced me to change even though it was already in the back of my mind. It was a little bit of chaos trying to schedule an appointment and work through the insurance red tape but I finally got there. I am so glad I did. Dr. Cimato is one of the most kind,considerate and understanding doctor I have ever met. He started off talking to me in his office explaining what new patients go thru, a little bit of history, and the results he hopes to achieve. He took a couple of xrays and did a little heat therapy and we scheduled another appointment for next day so that gave him a chance to read my results. The next day...showed me my xrays and explained in great detail what we could about "fixing" the problem. Although it's not correctable it is manageable. I was sad but their is nothing I can do about it. I'm just happy the pain can be managed. I do hate this saying but it is true "It is what it is." The staff were super accommodating making appointments for me with my funtastic schedule and the Dr. Was wonderful. I can't wait to go back which I will be for obvious reasons.
