Dr. Daly is an excellent doctor who knows lots about medicine, human beings and my health. He has seen me through pesky colds, hospitalizations, tears and everything in-between. Sometimes he sends me on to a specialist and they are always good choices. I also love that he is affiliated with Advocate South Suburban Hospital, my favorite hospital in the area. And, he has a great personality - loves to discuss books, politics and his Jesuit training. It's too bad that I am usually sick when I see him because he's an upstanding human being besides being a great physician.

Assistant not returned. The front desk is so populated it's like going through the gauntlet. Never in my life have I had to be escorted by a nurse through locked doors to enter a Dr.s' office. Medicare and secondary insurance were accepted with no problem, now we are receiving bills owing. Simple blood checks used to be "just come on in". Now it is "make an appointment". Very unwelcome changes involving a Dr. we so highly recommended to everyone!

My first appointment there was absolutely terrible. I showed up 30 mins early to fill out paper work and to hopefully speed things up but no. I waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room while every single other person that walked in after me went in the office, got treated and left, while I'm sitting in the waiting room and haven't even gotten vitals yet. Then after waiting this long it's now ther lunch time. They actually took a break to eat lunch while I've been here for over an hour waiting. I will never return to this office and I recxomne no one ever goes there.

Insisted everything be done his way, refusing to work with any of my doctors who were specialists in the areas pertaining to my particular disease and he refused to work with them. This is something that caused me to be so ill, that after I recovered and had had enough, I fired him. Always use your common sense. If something doesn't make sense, if a doctor has no specialty in certain areas, but wants to take a stab at it and control what other doctors should be involved in, please run to a better Doctor Who puts his patients first.

But my favorite aspect of this medical clinic is its Urgent Care After Hours facility. I have availed myself of its services on numerous occasions but the most memorable was New Years Eve. My husband and I had reservations downtown and I was whiling away the hours by cutting fabric for a new quilt, using my rotary cutter when I suddenly cut off about 1/3 of the tip of my left index finger. Holy Quentin Tarrantino, that sucker would not stop bleeding so my husband drove me here. When I checked in, the nurse, to her credit, did not even crack a smile when she asked the cause of my accident and I replied, "Quilting." I did, however, denote a bit of fun in her voice when she called out, "We've got a quilting victim here." Everyone there had nothing else to do but rush to see it and I got the care of my life. They stitched me up pronto and sent me on my way tactfully suppressing their mirth. We all agreed that the truly memorable New Years Eves in medical facilities all begin with Quilting accidents. And we made our reservations! Now that's a 5 star Medical group.
