Which is a small little gallery, two floors (main floor and a basement floor). Wonderful staff, the security guard is especially manly and handsome.
The time I visited, it featured a photography exhibition by amazing Garry Winogrand, a New York street photographer. Would love to talk more about him, but this exhibition especially found his unpublished work. Developed the films (unpublished, never seen before) and showed them in very nice and elegant frames.
Photos can look ordinary but when a gallery can showcase them like art, it makes a big difference. So thank you to Fundación Mapfre for this exhibition. And other exhibitions they do!! All year long. Check out the website to see its past and current events.
Did I mention this is free?!?
Oh and people actually shish each other if they talk too loud. Fun fun fun.
