So, I get all of the benefits and perks of a large company, with the personal attention and exemplary service of a small business. We recently purchased a new vehicle on Saturday, when the offices of my local representative were closed. However, when I sent an email to my point of contact, it was responded to within hours! This is what fantastic customer service is! I go out of my way to patronize and use locally owned small businesses. Sometimes this means that you will not always have access to some of the benefits you might get with a larger company. But again, being a locally owned office that is part of a national company is getting the best of both worlds. Wow we only have our automobiles insured through them, they also provide homeowners insurance and a myriad of other services as well. I cannot recommend them enough!

Now that Donius took over Patterson I would run for the hills before working with this company. The adjuster told us that there should be a declination of wrap around in our file but when requested we were told there is none and they send out letters to communicate such matters. Those letters are formatted as sales brochures in our opinion and did not help anyone understand these nuances. Our very first claim in those 30 years and all we are getting are delays and denials and the adjuster hounding contractors that did come to estimate.

My assigned agent (Mr. Fairchild) never calls back. I'm always told he's either busy or not in, so I leave a detailed message (e.g., need to add my kid's new car to our insurance) with the front desk to which the reply is always that he will get back to me the same day. He never does. Nor does he the second day. I understand people are busy, so I've even tried a direct e-mail to my agent, thinking that would make it easier for him to get back to me. Never got a reply. I wouldn't mind if at least I'd get some acknowledgment just to let me know that he'll get back to me later in the week! It makes me question if I really want to have my insurance with an office that is in no hurry to address existing clients. What would it be like if I ever had to file a claim or got into an accident? Either way, I don't get the "good neighbor" treatment here and my agent certainly never "is there." I've been a long time State Farm customer, but I'm so disappointed by my experience here that maybe it's time to switch. My advice is, if you're considering signing up with this office or any other insurance company, make sure that you get an agent who is reachable. One who will at least check in with you via e-mail or whom you can expect to get a call back from within the week. You want an insurance agent you can rely on.

We were in a pinch as our usual mechanic couldn't get the tire and get us taken care of same day. I purchased a tire at AAA, Gambrills and paid to have it installed while I waited. Left there happy thinking my tire had been replaced only to arrive home and realize they had not replaced the tire as I requested and paid for but simply plugged the hole in a way that would not last 10 miles. Went back and talked to the manager and was told that he did not know how that mistake could have happened and that it would take 3-5 weeks to get my money back. To say I felt cheated is an understatement- not sure what is going on at this "service center" but be aware!

When we went to pick up the car my husband drove it off the lot and the whistling was still there. I immediately called and was informed that they needed to order 2 more parts. The Parts came in pieces in 2 different deliveries. We took the vehicle back on Friday, I was informed they replaced the parts but could still not find the source of the whistle. (remember they called me on Monday that the car was finished!). So they had the car all day Saturday as well and no call to update. I called for an update and was told they had to stop working on the car because they needed to fix 2 other cars!!!!! I new where I stood at that point AND they never called me back before they closed for the weekend. At this point I had it! First thing Monday morning called another shop and they said to bring the car in. So I called and told them I would be picking up my car and taking it somewhere else. I paid a total of $828.24 for 3 days in the shop at AAA Crofton, car is not fixed AND after I paid $173.99 for them to run Diagnostics. I know I owe for parts but labor for diagnostics is ridiculous. They did not diagnose anything. I also reviewed them on their site and no one has even reached out to me. They did not supply the quality of the service I expect from AAA, The new shop diagnosed the issue within an hour, ordered the part and had my car fixed and on the road a day before promised.
