Communications with LaQuita and staff in the office to set up our first 2-month stay were great. They were so kind and helpful throughout our October and November stay. The assigned spot, 97, was large and drained well when raining, with ample room for both our big 5th wheel and dually truck. The park is quiet, well kept, and friendly. The voltage at our site was strong and stayed in the safe zone even during warmer days. We were so happy to see our Verizon signal was 5 bars of 5G for streaming. LaQuita suggested a great mobile RV repair guy to use when we had a couple needed repairs. There is a Camping World only a few hundred yards down the highway. The stay all went smooth. When it came time to leave, we rented one of the secured, covered and powered (to keep batteries charged) storage slots next door and backed our 5ver in it, protected till we come back again. All in all, a great first experience. Thanks, y'all

As others have mentioned, it's a little pricey given the sites aren't full=service, but still a good value with the location and other amenities. Shower facilities were very clean. Only real negative is the that the majority of sites--especially lake front--are super not level, even though the website says they are all level. First time our automatic levelers wouldn't work. Had to use a total of 20 leveler blocks to get the back end of our 25' RV level. There are a few level spots, but you can't tell from the website. Quite misleading. We'll go back but only if we can get into one of the few level spots we found.

We lived at Stillwater RV Resort for about six months and also worked for the property during our…read moretime there, so we got to experience the resort from both the guest side and behind the scenes. Overall, we had a really great experience. Stillwater is much more than just a place to park an RV. There's always something going on between the pools, lazy river, bar and grill, live music, activities, sporting events, and special weekends. You can stay busy if you want to, but it's also a great place to just relax and enjoy the property. What really made our time there special was the people. We met a lot of great guests, seasonal residents, coworkers, and staff, and several of those people became real friends. That's probably what we'll remember most about our time there. Working for the resort also gave us a better appreciation for everything that goes on behind the scenes. There is a lot of work that goes into keeping a property like this running, planning events, maintaining the grounds, and creating a good experience for guests. Like anywhere, not every day is perfect, but the overall experience for us was very positive. After six months of living and working at Stillwater, we're leaving with a lot of great memories and friendships. We're genuinely thankful for our time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a destination-style RV resort in East Texas.
