I've been going to Patriot since I moved here in '15. Eiran has the worst attitude/people skills I have ever seen out of a store employee. Condescending and rude. I honestly don't know how he still has a job. Patriot is losing business because of him. Stephen on the other hand is the best instructor I've met and will strike up a friendly, beneficial gun enthusiast conversation when you walk in. Why he keeps Eiran around... I'm not sure. The range itself isn't bad, and the military priced annual is worth it if you shoot even once a month. It's the only way to shoot 300 yards in this cow farm condensed, BLM barren country. read more

Patriot is a one-stop-shop for guns, ammo and shooting in Clovis. They have awesome ranges and several classes that can help all levels improve. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Dishonest cheater. Unapologetic & admitted ripoff when purchase did not include all factory-issued accessories. Followed by the audacity to be a jerk about it when plainly asking the next day. Too bad, there's some really nice guys who have been totally awesome here & really made my day (in the good way). I just took a personal training course today, and at first, I was hesitant and nervous because I have never fired a weapon and did not grow up around guns. My trainer Stephen did not mind that I was anxious he showed me what I needed to know to first Be Safe and second Have Fun! Stephen was patient and broke down the terms so I knew exactly what was going on. I cannot express in words how amazing the training went and how much fun I had this is definitely the start of a new hobby for me. Decided to spend a windy afternoon shooting some guns with family and heard about this place. Great bargain on admission and bullets! The wooden posts for the zombie posters (which were awesome by the way) were broken and strewn about, but I managed to stand them up properly. Had a range section all to ourselves! Would definitely recommend this place and if ever I visit again, glad to know my pass will never expire! read more
