He worked with us in brainstorming and working with our tight budget to put in some foundation features at a newly purchased home in Fort Walton Beach that lacked much landscaping. First, he installed two green hedges for screening in the front yard. With his expert staff of Randy and Mo, they designed and installed a patio area. First, a serious water drainage issue had to be addressed. They removed a partial concrete pad and installed a french drain and drain box away from the house. With used pavers, they expertly installed an absolutely beautiful patio. Four beds were created in the back and outlined with pavers because the budget would not allow complete landscaping at this time. A long, rectangular bed for a garden is in the middle, two corner beds and a bed next to the house were installed with a few foundation plants so we could then add small plants ourselves. He planted some beautiful jasmine to view out the kitchen window and near the bedroom as foundation plants. He and his staff were always careful, pleasant, and professional. I recommend them without reservation--something I feel I can rarely do.

TRUE PROFESSIONALS - KODIAK TREE SERVICE From the initial…read moreestimate through completion of the project, the Kodiak Team was outstanding!! They consulted with my neighbors in advance, and made all the necessary arrangements for what looked to be a fairly complicated tree removal, positioned directly on the fence line, overhanging multiple neighbors back yards. Kodiak Tree Service made it look easy with all the right equipment, teamwork, and experience. I had initially assumed a section of my fence would have to be removed, along with a row of red-tops to allow bucket truck access. Ben from Kodiak explained an alternative solution with no collateral affects ( Go Ben...Thank you ! ) I want to further expand that I really appreciated the extra effort from the crew, in assuring no damage to the surrounding delicate trees and foliage. I had been dreading this job...and fearing damage to the structure. I got multiple quotes for this work and found a lot of reputable, good companies. I wish I could have hired them all! Great climbers had to take the trees down piece by piece...so if you need a big tree down near a house, don't hesitate to call them!

Trey (company owner) came out to our house and thoroughly walked me through all the options prior to committing to their bid. It became clear that their company's ethos was grounded in honest work with a commitment to providing a solid roofing product. The Elmer Cook team diligently completed our 1800 sq ft Okaloosa Island home in less than a week (metal roof over shingle), while minimizing disturbance to our yard. They worked from 7 to 7 everyday, and it's pretty clear that their guys actually enjoy the work. The final product is impeccable. When the county inspector arrived a week after completion, he made the following remarks: "Well... it's not hard to tell that this is an Elmer Cook Roof, every screw is centered just right." Furthermore, he mentioned that Elmer Cook did his roof too.... "What can i say... they do the best work in town." I concur.
