**Ghost Tour & Dinner Experience** This was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional dining…read moreexperiences I've ever had. My mom and sister and I visited from Charleston and planned a trip to Little River specifically to have dinner at The Brentwood and take their ghost tour. The entire evening though was one disappointment after another: from the food to the service to the "ghost tour". Dinner was chaotic before it even began. The menu was changed multiple times by head cook Steve...first the chicken was unavailable, then it was duck, then suddenly chicken Marsala, then back to chicken Caprese. My sister and I went with the chicken caprese and our mom the short ribs. When we finally did get our meals, the chicken dish looked NOTHING like what was described and it was NOT good. It was almost like they just took whatever extra ingredients they had in the kitchen and threw it together to make some type of a chicken pasta dish. They were literally giving away additional plates of it to the other diners during the ghost tour experience for free. My sister and I both left our plates mostly untouched, and our server Lorena didn't ask a single question about why two entrées went back almost full. For the price, it was disappointing to leave hungry. Dessert didn't help either...no one around us finished theirs. And then there was the ghost tour. To call it a "tour" is generous...and it was somehow even worse than dinner. It started with reality TV clips from different ghost hunting show that we could've watched online for free. After that, our guide Steve (yes, the same person who cooked our dinner) led us on what was maybe a 15-minute walk while repeating the same stories multple times he'd already told us earlier in the evening. He seemed extremely disheveled and under the influence of something. His Levi's boxers were literally hanging out of his jeans the entire time. It was unprofessional and uncomfortable. When the "tour" ended, we didn't even bother sticking around to explore the historic property. We were over it. We ended up talking with another couple who had driven in (like us) to celebrate their anniversary, and they were just as disappointed and confused by the whole experience as we were. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant or the ghost tour to anyone in its current state.

Drove 30 minutes to an empty parking lot, overgrown grass, and note on door the that business is closed. When they reopen, we won't be back. Owners should have the foresight to not let this happen.

I found it online while searching for wineries and this was much closer to our preferences...what a clever concept! Meeting married co-owners Megan & Rich and learning of their career backgrounds and approach to opening this business (approximately 18 months ago), it is clear that they were destined to succeed. We were greeted by a charming, welcoming gal, who we came to learn was the female vocalist of the musical duo for the evening. I thought perhaps she might be on staff, which was partially the case. Nevertheless, she was so warm & friendly, making us feel entirely welcome before we even decided where we chose to sit. Having spoken to Megan a couple days prior to make our reservation and learn basic information about Wine Therapy, I knew we'd be ordering wines to taste but also looking forward to the charcuterie board, which was filled with all the selections my husband and I enjoy: Genoa salami, prociutto, Sopresatta, almonds, figs, chocolate-covered minced raisins, apricots...Mmmmm...so great!! I don't know if this list is complete, misspelled, etc, but it was so very good and there was enough for us to take home as a tiny snack for the next day. It is disappointing to add that our attempt to add hummus dip to our initial order was unsuccessful. The same was also true for dessert. Because Megan & Rich had been away up until opening for the evening, they admitted being behind in maintaining their "back-of-the-house" orders. Kudos for her honesty and adding an extra serving of chocolate covered raisins. Wise woman you are, Megan...little things make a big difference--in business and in life! We enjoyed the evening, the music (not too loud but pleasantly audible), the wine (my husband had a "flight", I had a wine slushy...both delish) and the welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, bring friends and won't need to wait for anyone's birthday to do so!!

We had the foie gras as an appetizer, I had the fruit of the sea with half a lobster tail and my husband had a bone in filet. We got the creamed spinach and duck fat fried Parmesan fries. I had a glass of Pinot Grigio and a old fashioned, and my husband had 2 old fashioneds. We finished with a shared dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly. Beautiful meal, and all staff were super nice and attentive. We would love to go again, because it was amazing food and we enjoyed the experience. We usually go for high end so we are accustomed to paying more....price does not typically deter us if we know it's great. I would go back again and again and again if it were a tad more in line with prices at other fine establishments. I understand we are living in tough times... and supply issues have made prices go up, but I was not expecting the bill to be as much as it was. This place is great... I don't want to see it price itself out of the market. Thanks for the experience, we did enjoy it regardless.

Biggest rub is the server rattles off like 20+ specials (why not write them down as I couldn't remember 1/2 of them). Would recommended the restaurant with the caveat that it's crazy expensive but high quality.
