If I could I will rate this place a 0. I when there and specifically ask for highlights in a medium brown hair. I ended up with my hair completely yellow I ask the lady to fix it .Since I will no paid for a job poorly done. She came back and die my hair dark brow. My roots were light yellow and the rest of the hair almost black.when was time to paid the owner charge me$400.00! Horrible experience. They should hire professional people.They lost a good customer I rather expend my money in a better place. read more

I was looking for a salon to do my hair 2 years ago for prom. My aunt came upon this salon & i am so happy she did! I did my hair with Ayman & he did absolutely amazing. I then proceeded to go to Ayman to blow out my hair for graduation, which then came to getting highlights in my hair, & just coming back today to get them redone. He is awesome! Not only do i highly recommend Ayman but i also recommend the salon itself. The service is awesome. Everyone is always wearing a smile! First time was excellent! A real precision cut. I brought in pictures and we spoke. Second time he was looking at notes so I thought he had everything he needed. Didn't ask me any questions but the cut & style was pretty much ...horrendous. Same person both times! And while I am not a young teenager he finished my hair like you would see on a 90 year old. I used to get my hair cut here a while back and let me tell you, if you want overpriced haircuts by stylists who are deaf, this is your joint. Now let me tell you, honestly, that you will get even, well cut and styled hair here, BUT, understand that the stylists in this place are notorious for doing their own thing and lightly taking your advice... You have been warned. the problem is that this place is in a busy section of Weston, and they have a good bit of arrogance to their salon and work. You will understand that much better when it comes time for you to pay. Many of the stylists here are constantly cutting rich housewife hair and are given the liberty to just go wild, so when you tell them specifically what it is that you are after, old habits die hard and there they are doing there own thing trying to make your hair into their art, but AHEM, it's YOUR hair! There used to be a guy there who strictly did men's cuts in his own room, and had nice tv's in there, but sadly his cuts went south and in the end you were better off taking your chances with one of the rogue styists in the common salon area. I had him cut my hair several times and thought that he was actually the best in there until I had to return to have him fix my cut at which time he was huffing and puffing and actually tell me "well, you could have told me that you wanted that when you were here.." (um, I did..), to which I replied "well, you could have listened when I told you the first time". Yeah anyway, know that you are really taking your chances here and that for the outrageous prices they gouge at, it is simply not worth it.. read more

Patrick Taleb was my regular salon until today. I've been coming here for 4 years with the same stylist and never had a problem. I've gotten hair cuts, highlights, and color done here before. I had an appointment today for a full-highlight and cut today at 2 pm. I show up on time and as soon as my stylist starts sectioning off my hair, a client that had a 1:30 appointment shows up 30 min late. He leaves me for about 30 min to attend this other hair cut. I didn't think it was fair that I showed up on time for my appointment and he leaves me to take care of someone else. I was annoyed, but I figured he would do an extra good job since that happened. Turns out, I was wrong. My highlights are disgraceful. I have medium brown hair and asked for subtle, lighter highlights. I have gotten them done there before and they've always done a great job. My hair now has un-blended chunks of yellow (not blonde) in it. Not once did they apologize for how my hair turned out. They tried using a toner to help, but it still looked appalling. In turn, all of the other stylists tried coming up to me and telling me how great my hair looked because they could see how upset I was. They did not see what the problem was with my hair. They look like chunky, 90's highlights. I had this done on a Saturday and the next available time they have to fix it is on Thursday... Never coming here again. Not worth the money or the service. So disappointed that they still made me pay for these highlights that a first year beauty school student could've done a better job on. You lost a loyal customer of 4 years today. read more

I have been going to PTS for over 2 years now, and I absolutely love how he cuts my hair. He is pleasant and always makes me feel comfortable. However, I cannot say the same thing about the associate (wife) at the reception desk. She is rude on the phone and doesn't provide the customer service she should, especially while this salon charges TOP dollar for their services. I am very displeased with her attitude and how she handles things. I will be discussing this with Patrick, the owner of the salon. The way I see it, if I am going to pay TOP dollar for my services, I deserve to be treated very well, from all employees at the establishment. read more

I can't complain about the hairstylists at this salon, but am more than disgusted with the receptionist whom I spoke with regarding an appointment I had made. Not only was this girl extremely rude, but she gave me attitude because she didn't do her job and confirm my appointment. Being extremely busy, I simply cannot keep track on every appointment in my life and I rely on the confirmation call as a reminder of when I am supposed to go in. If I am unable to make an appointment I most certainly do the respectful thing of calling to cancel with as much time in advance as possible. In this case, I never received a call confirming my appointment and therefore unfortunately missed it. I received a call ten minutes into my scheduled appointment time asking where I was, and it was unfortunately too late to then show up for my haircut. I said I was sorry for the confusion and it wasn't my intention to mess up their schedule but I was simply reliant on the confirmation call which I never got. This girl continued to argue with me telling me she will check her records and let me know when she called, which she never did because there was no call!! Also, I apologized and said I would reschedule in the future, then she proceeded to give me attitude and make a smart comment about maybe next time I need to pay more attention to dates and make a note of it, which I didn't appreciate. I refuse to tolerate disrespect from a 17 year old receptionist who has no idea what she is talking about. They lost a loyal customer thanks to her and her poor attitude. I must say that although it is a very beautiful salon, the stylists and workers are nice and do a great job, there is a sense of unfairness. They apparently have this policy that you are not allowed to leave tip on your credit card. So was I went to get cash from the ATM the gentleman after me was clearly allowed to leave tip on the card but not me. The owner, a female,mentioned that she does not have enough cash to tip her salon workers. Yet she allowed the man to leave a tip on his card andI was not allowed to. Please be careful of unfair treatment by the staff and/or owner. read more
