I can't say enough good things…read moreabout the law firm and couldn't hope for a better experience (other than not being hit by a truck!) I was injured in a car accident, discharged with a number of injuries, but then, I had no idea what to do! I didn't even know to call a lawyer for days, I was so confused at the time. I had memory, speaking, vision, and balance problems as well as impaired decision-making. In addition, I didn't know the first thing about my own injuries: if rehabilitation was available or effective, how I could pay for any of it, what the legal process was, and, my biggest fear, "would I ever be the same person again?" But from the moment that I spoke with Don and his team, I felt a massive weight lifted off of me and knew I that I was in good hands. They are professional, courteous, respectful, genuinely kind people, and they really cared. All of my questions were answered. Don was diligent about my case and kept me up to date regularly, but my injuries, my recovery, and my physical and emotional health (it takes a toll!) were always as important to Don as was financial compensation. Don is extremely knowledgeable about traumatic brain injury. He also knows what the permanent, and/or long-term effects may be. Such honesty, & empathy are vital for such a personal injury (especially one that other people cannot see.) Don and his team called to make sure I was doing well in-between visits. His expertise allowed me to get the care I needed for each and every problem and while I still have residual effects I'm still working on--the difference between then and now is night and day. Until now, I did not know that one's choice of a lawyer could affect the quality of one's life both today and in the future but that was the case! The Corson & Johns Law Firm helped me through a difficult, painful process with professionalism and great compassion and for that, I will be forever grateful.

Joshua J. Capp | Attorney…read more Long story short, after 15 months of made-up (false) noise complaints by my homophobic neighbor I pushed on Principle Property management (PPM) to deal with the issue. In doing so PPM issued a 24 hr eviction notice to me. I sought help and found Mr. Capp. He made time to see me right away. He reviewed the details and gave me clear concise information on how the legal process works in landlord/tenant matters. With that first visit, we made a quick strategy. Mr. Capp continued to provide his counsel and advice with leaving me to make the right decisions for myself. He provided very clear and heart-dropping details on the risks I faced with each stage of the process. He communicated with me every step of the way, and I felt well informed about what was going on. I appreciated that Mr. Capp would listen to the thoughts and feelings I was expressing with excited Italian hand gestures. He demonstrated the human side of the law in regards to my fears and anger with understanding and yet with a professional drive to represent this matter to the fullest. Joshua understood trial was costly and risky, even though I was ready to "Dam the Torpedoes" in this matter he sought a reasonable solution out of court (redirecting my anger). While I did not get what I WANTED out of this matter, he helped get me what I needed to be in control of my own destiny. I highly recommend Joshua Capp for the legal needs you may have that he covers. Mine was a landlord/tenant matter. --Thank you to all the staff as well, always with a smile and kind words.

He was able to work with my children's father (and their father is not an easy one to work with, as he consistently delays the process) to negotiate in my favor very well, and was able to get the settlement I needed and all that I had hoped for without even having to take it to court. I am ever so grateful for his help! I could not have done nearly as well without his knowledge and expertise, and he took a load of anxiety off my plate and made the process as easy as possible for me. His assistant, Emma, was also wonderful, and so kind and understanding! She made sure he got all the info I provided and processed documents quickly, which saved me time and money. They made a great team, and I cannot be more pleased with the results. Highly, highly recommend Jordan Beckett!

Nearly 3 months after, she had inquired as to the progress of her trust and was told that Mr Huffman had been "pulled away" to another project and would work on it soon. Nearly 2 more months went by without correspondence from him or the firm. My friend realized that her trust creation was of low priority to Mr Huffman, so she called to request a refund for the work not being completed. She was denied a refund, being told the work was (nearly) complete. With this extreme delay and lack of care shown, my friend had little confidence or trust in his work going forward. After having 6 months of her precious time wasted by Mr Huffman, she has hired a new attorney to create her living trust. I'm confused as to why any attorney would not consider it a priority to complete a living trust for their 77 yr old client? Why commit to the work, then not deliver in a timely manner? As there was no prior consultation, why did Mr Huffman insist she pay in advance of any work being done? These questions will be posed to the Oregon State Bar Association when her complaint is filed.
