Nearly 2 more months went by without correspondence from him or the firm. My friend realized that her trust creation was of low priority to Mr Huffman, so she called to request a refund for the work not being completed. She was denied a refund, being told the work was (nearly) complete. With this extreme delay and lack of care shown, my friend had little confidence or trust in his work going forward. After having 6 months of her precious time wasted by Mr Huffman, she has hired a new attorney to create her living trust. I'm confused as to why any attorney would not consider it a priority to complete a living trust for their 77 yr old client? Why commit to the work, then not deliver in a timely manner? As there was no prior consultation, why did Mr Huffman insist she pay in advance of any work being done?
