The stylist came up to me at the start and asked a few questions about what I was looking for, and made a couple of suggestions. There was then quite a long wait to get my hair washed, but nothing ridiculous. I was fairly pleased with the results, but there was no big wow about it either, and I always like a bit of pampering, which didn't really happen. Add to that a price I thought was a bit expensive for Kirkie, and the total impression was average.

A full head colour and cut and blow dry cost £57. The thing that some other salons do that really annoy me, is they will charge you extra for having your hair blow dried after a colour. A blow dry, at least, should ALWAYS be included in the price. I'll be a regular customer at sasscia from now on and I'll probably try the beauty aspect too.

My hair was completely unsightly, I went back to allow them to correct it, but before they did so the manager tried to argue that that's "how highlights should be"... After showing her the huge dark patches it was corrected. When it had originally been done apart from the junior doing half of my colour the junior also attempted my blow dry, It was an absolute mess, I offered to straighten the fringe part for her and she gave me the brush to do so, (To be honest when paying full price the whole process should be carried out by the person that you have booked your appointment with). There was no mention of this being a problem by the owner Irene and to be honest she should have been embarrassed that my hair was such a mess I was having to fix it myself. After my colour had been corrected I decided I had lost faith in them doing the colour and it still wasn't right so I had to dye it back to dark to hide the big patches that had been missed. Even after all this I was willing to let Barbara cut my hair as she is very good, but when i phoned to book the appointment the owner Irene decided to tell me that I wasn't to go back as they didn't feel comfortable doing my hair and falsely accusing me of pulling the hairbrush from the junior Holly, even though I had asked her if she wanted me to fix it myself and she said yes......I feel That Irene and Holly should be completely ashamed of themselves a) for the false allegations of pulling the brush from her hand and b) for allowing this junior Holly who obviously cannot colour or blow dry to make a mess of a clients hair...... I have lots of photographs of the mess my hair was in and am happy to post them.... I would also like to point out that the allegations of pulling the brush have only been mentioned to me since I had to return because of the mess that was made of my colour. I have never given any salon a bad review but the customer being right does not apply to this salon, Irene has a lot to learn regarding customer service... Again I can back up the mess of my hair with photographs I have taken. I should mention that I had used this salon for 6 years before Holly got her hands on my hair and told lies about me pulling the brush from her hand. There are better places in Kirkintilloch to go and thankfully I found that my original stylist Shannon ( who is AMAZING is working at another salon in Kirkintilloch so I shall be going there from now on!!!!

A great couple own and manage the hairdressers and are great to chat too. The hairdressers always listen to exactly what you want and aim to give you the cutt that you want. Its true that many hairdressers tweak your design to suit their own needs, but this has never happened to me when visiting avrils hair salon. The salon also offers beauty treatments. Price wise, they are competitvely priced.

Having had issues with a hairdresser being set on straightening my VERY curly hair before cutting…read moreit (total disaster) here in the past I was a bit reluctant to return to Street Image, but as my layers got out of control and this was one of the only local salons open on a Monday morning it had to be done. Luckily, I was much happier with this visit than I had been in the past. My hairdresser was attentive, friendly and fast. Ensuring that I was happy with my hair at every step of the way, recommending ways to style it and understanding my usual distrust of hairdressers. I did feel like I was being rushed, but as it was a very last minute appointment I don't know if this is standard practise. It's a bit more pricey than I'd like to pay at £27 for a cut & blow dry, but if you're stuck for time it's probably one of the better options in Kirkintilloch. Worth noting that they don't take card.

I was able to get an appointment for a Friday afternoon by messaging the Facebook page the evening before, with someone getting back to me straight away and getting me booked in easily. It was quiet when I visited, but with the amount of offers - including a cut and blow dry for £12 - they have on their Facebook page I imagine it gets pretty busy outside of lunch time. My stylist was Amy and she did a fantastic job, especially in comparison to other salons in the area. She made sure I was happy with every stage and clearly knew how to deal with curly hair which surprisingly few stylists do! A big plus for me was the fact that she was super speedy, but I still got the exact result I was after. I'll definitely be going back to Little White Studio again for my hair, and I'm keen on trying out some of their other services too!

Well what can i say Brian knows exactly what suits you and the colour you couldn't ask for anything better. All the staff are extremely attentive and it is a pleasure to enter the salon. The cut is amazing just falls into place. I recommend this salon 100 per cent and now wouldn't go anywhere else.
