As I walked by, the aroma of the pastries stopped me in my tracks. I got us two just-out-of-the-oven, warm almond pastries filled with a chocolate cream and a couple of dark roast coffees. The heft of the pastry bag was gorgeous. I practically jogged back to the hotel. I will never forget savoring those things as we sipped coffee and looked out the window of our room down into the courtyard. If you're in the area and in the mood for a pastry, go there.
