However, since then, I have had retain a new attorney because there were so many screw ups in our orders, so much that was left unfinished, so much unresolved issues, and I have spent well over $30,000 POST DIVORCE LITIGATION and no end in sight to fix the mess Kellian Coggswell and Eliza Steinberg left me with. Kellian completely gave up on me after our permanent orders came back absolutely a mess and missed several very important errors, missed several important deadlines that needed to be addressed within the first 2 weeks after receiving permanent orders, including a miscalculation in my child support that wasn't caught until a year later! Also left me with so much to deal with still because Kellian did not address key things in our final orders hearing even though we discussed all of it. I got royally screwed with a slam dunk case that Kellian had no business handling. Not only that, but Kellian gave me very poor advice on how to handle several financial issues that would have completely screwed me over financially. After consulting with several other attorneys, I am now pursuing a malpractice lawsuit due to the amount of evidence that proves mishandling of my case, bad advice, missed deadlines, and not handling numerous things that were promised to be taken care of, and not filing key motions on time or completely forgetting to file very important things. Currently, only a year post divorce, I have a pending motion to modify child support, a motion to modify parenting time, have had to file several motions to get clarification on judges orders, contempt filings and an ex who is abusing the court system which could have been stopped if my ex would have been held accountablet from the start. Attorneys like this that screw over families should not be in practice and I'm gonna do what I can to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else and make sure i am finally served justice in family court, because divorce is hard enough, let alone a divorce case with a narcissistic ex and attorney fees amounting to well over $100k, steer clear of this practice if you actually want to come out the other side in one piece and not bankrupt.
