On some evenings, it turns into an ice go karting track! The go karts are electric but do have decent acceleration though we soon discovered that pure speed isn't necessarily the best way to win when you're driving on ice! It takes a few corners to work out how to power slide effectively and where to brake. This is a fantastic and novel way (if you don't live in Finland where the world rally champions all invariably come from!) to have fun in Alep d'Huez

It's capacity of 7200 is constantly filled by the avid fans of the ice hockey team, who come to cheer them on in the premier ice hockey league of Switzerland, the LNA. Home to not just ice hockey but also: karting on ice, disco skating, disney on ice and many other events! Also known by some fans as the "eagles nest"

Concessions are extremely limited, basically just drinks and nutella crepes. Space for merchandise is limited, too, so there's not much else to do other than watch whatever you came to see.
