Notwithstanding that, she makes time for many who won't generate large fees because she really does live "by the Book"- When I first met her I was struggling to get my house finalized and closed after paying off a great deal of medical debt. The short version of the story is that I received services from an accountant associated with this firm which were paid in full at the time in 2016. The following year 2017 my wife and I elected to complete our tax returns by ourselves. It was later that I learned that not all the information was contain in the documents the account prepared. I called an spoke to this person which advised that I owed some kind of loyalty fee because he prepared my taxes and out of respect I owed him a duty to notify him I would not be using his services . I reminded this individual at that time H@R block did not request some sort of financial compensation or loyalty fee for completing my taxes the 15 years prior. The accountant provided the preparation we paid for in full. At that time I was satisfied to move on with life. However after 402 day I received a bill for $45 . According to the Invoice dated 3-27-2017 and received on 5-3- 2018,I lost my tax preparation and want another copy. I called to address this issue with the company. I truly was expecting that they would realize that the invoice was a flagrant misconduct of billing practices. What I received was a compromised offer to reduce the invoice to $30. It was at this time I advised I would not be paying this invoice. Please reconsider any use of this company. Fraud is defined as ( wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain) People write reviews because of a good experiences and BAD experiences. My review is based on the latter.
