No one there really has a vast knowledge of tax laws and guidelines and if they do they sure don't act like they know. Please also do not fall for the piece of mind scam either. I was looking for alternatives and noticed that Jackson Hewitt would do it for only $149 for new customers. They have boldly announced "NO HIDDEN FEES". I was skeptical about the pricing but they assured me that it is accurate. I submitted my paperwork in one of the stores, the next day I got a call that they would not honor the price and that I should go to another store. When I called the other store, they told me that they would not honor the price as it would mean giving me a discount of $550. When I went to collect my paperwork from the first store, she informed me the store in the local Walmart would honor the price. When I called this 3rd store, she agreed to do it for $149. After dropping off the paperwork, she called me to inform me that her boss declined to honor the price.
