I've been visiting this dental practice for years, but for lack of another NHS dentist unfortunately I am stuck there.
It is a small practice, near the A38, with a handful of dentists. As a result, it is always busy, with a bustling reception.
The receptionists are friendly enough, although there always seems to be some delay with appointments, so if you're booked in for 15:30, expect to be seen around 15:45.
The dentist checks your teeth with the usual counting, along with a nurse. However, problem is, it seems like the dentists, once every 5 years gives you a scale and polish on your teeth (when most other practices do it every time you visit, especially when I can see the tartar building up, funny they don't!) Also, having had breached wisdom teeth for 4 years now, and pointing it out on several occassions, the dentist seems reluctant or bothered to do anything. Just the usual "see you next year" along with the £20 fee, which is pretty expensive for an NHS dentist!
Friends and family have had the same problem there, and if you're in pain, getting an emergency appointment isn't easy. So until I find something else, I'm stuck... Sigh
