There were some unforeseen challenges along the way, but Robert managed to overcome them. He is conscientious and always showed up as scheduled. He and his assistant cleaned up at the end of each day and worked to minimize my inconvenience during the construction. The end result is beautiful. He provides good work at a fair price, and I would use him again if I have future repair or remodeling projects.

After the repairs were done, I used Gorilla Clean (Gorilla Paver Sealing Solutions) to wash, sand, and reseal the pavers at the recommendation of the company who initially installed my driveway and sidewalks and who also did the repairs. I'm really happy with the result. John March was professional and courteous and was there with another employee. They did an excellent job all around. The sealer had more gloss than my previous sealer and I liked it better. It has seemed so far to hold up better than other sealers that have been used since I first had the bricks installed back in 2017. Also, their price was better than the others (I did shop around). I highly recommend Gorilla Clean and plan to use them again in the future.

They cleaned up after they were done and I couldn't be more pleased. I even called to see if it was normal to have a few dull areas (which with older pavers it might be) and they actually returned and put on a second coat at no extra charge. They didn't have to do that. I will recommend in the future. Note - I see someone wrote about cash upfront and while I don't know their experience, this company did not ask to get paid until the job was complete.

He required 1/2 of his estimate paid before he showed up. On the morning of the appointment, he was late, so I contacted him asking if he was still coming. First he said he was running late & it would be noon. Appointment was for 9 a.m. Then he contacted me again & said he wasn't coming as he is too busy. Why make arrangements to show up if you're too busy? He also said he was immediately crediting my credit card for my deposit. It was not immediate! I had to file a complaint with my credit card company to get my deposit back. Never again! Beware of this guy!

The new meatal roof was a joke, inspectors looked at it said you basically have a 75 yes 75 dollar roof you paid thousands for and no way it passes inspection. Don't let his nice guy demeanor fool you either! And before you believe his story some guy pretends to be him giving him a bad name think again. I have photos and videos of Ray and employees working on our home. Insurance co paid him thousands of dollars and we got screwed over! We ended up having to take a loan out and pay another contractor to do what Ray Mayfield was paid to do! We were living with no ceiling, walls, floors or kitchen and this guy has the balls to tell me he has no money to fix our house cause he used it on another clients home yes he said that! We were living in crap while this guy who had no money to cause spent it elsewhere was taking vacations to the Carolina's to visit his grown kids and enjoying him self not giving a damn he was screwing people over! Again don't let the nice guy image fool you! I have pictures, video's and text to this day to back up everything I have said. And to answer why he got away with taking thousands because the insurance company paid him up front in a lump sum instead of increments. I don't know how this guy can sleep at night knowing he screws people over and the work he does do is shotty!
