Stopped in while on vacation after seeing great reviews on Google. Tim, the owner, walked up to me as I was marveling at his walk of hot sauces from around the globe. After eating Norwegian food for the last 3 weeks it seems as some in Norway would consider salt and pepper spicy, so I was dumbfounded to find a shop with a vast array of heat and spice.
Tim was extremely social, funny, and kind. He let me try between 12-15 types of sauces as we talked about ourselves and our love for hot sauce/spices.
I also ate his traditional Cornish pasty, which was wonderfully seasoned and had some quality bottom round beef (I believe) packed inside. I also tried my sister's chicken curry pasty, which was amazing! I think the quality of his food is great - selling pastys around 80-90 kr.
Ice creams had great flavor and come in small dishes for roughly a similar price. He sells a selection of British goods along the back wall.
Great little shop to experience an array of flavors from around the world, and to "shoot the crap" with a pleasant fellow. read more
