When they were done, the hedges looked like they belonged in a fun house, the trees were scalped down to nothing and both of the new bushes were dead. When I contacted John to replace the dead bushes (they gave us a guarantee / warranty for a year on them and it had only been 6-7 months) he made every excuse he could think of (bad soil, no water, etc. even though the previous bushes in the same spots were fine) then told me to "take to social media". So here I am.... Plenty of better options in the area to choose from - do not make the mistake we did.

First I had a difficult time communicating with them. It took me multiple times reaching out to…read morethem to confirm what day they were coming. One of the days they were scheduled to come I had to text them the day before to check because it had rained and I didn't get a response back til 8am the morning of the appointment saying it had been rained out from the day prior. After we finally got a date, I didn't hear the day before what time I should expect the crew. I texted that morning asking and got told 30 minutes before they showed up. The crew was very polite any time we had to engage while they were on site. They made sure to ask me where exactly the sod was going. I asked if they could remove a small stump where the sod was going and if they couldn't I would remove it. They kindly said they could. Once going to pay my invoice I noticed they had a charge of $350 for debris removal but no debris were removed and I was never asked if I wanted them to take the debris which I would have said no. I ended up sharing the camera recording that showed nothing was removed! This ended up getting removed as they said there was confusion and that taking away the pallets from the soil & sod from the site was not considered debris. The sod looked great post laying down however two days later when we went to install the sprinkler system we were stunned to see what was underneath. I had been charged $400 for top soil, if you look at the pictures there is hardly any top soil under the sod. I was told they would prep the ground but yet you see rocks, sticks, etc so the ground was not moved though it's claimed to have been raked. The backyard is that tough clay like dirt so it needs to be roughed and prepped to ensure its growth. It's apparent it was not. When sharing the videos and photos with the company asking for resolution or partial refund. I got told that this was up to their standard, they did the proper prep and there was $400 worth of top soil there. I also got told they already gave me a discount by removing the debris charge!! Though there were not debris removed and were now saying the pallets did count as removal. No partial refund or even correction of the work they did. I unfortunately will not be using them again though I originally had considered using them for my front lawn later in the year.
