Mama O.

No real complaints ! Served its purpose & was clean. Convenient location. Great price. Minus 1 star because Yes you can hear through the walls to other rooms. Everything else was satisfactory. Spacious room.

We stayed at this motel in summers point on the recommendation of a friend. We loved it here. Clean rooms, near everything in Summers Point.

It was cleanish. The bath towels looked like dish rags, the pillows were small and flat. I won't be back.

My family was looking to stay at a place near my Aunt and Uncle's shore house and found this hotel…read more They decided to stay here since one of our cousin's has come here and said it was his go-to place. The motel is relatively clean, I'll give them that. There's what it ends... First of all, we arrived 15 minutes after check-in was supposed to start. My Mom and I had to drive around the parking lot FIVE TIMES at least before we found a spot (second to LAST SPOT in the back of the parking lot). This is due to all the people going to the restaurant next door (The Crab Trap) and using the hotel's parking......... When we arrive, the woman checking in asked for our license plate number, and when my Mom said she wasn't sure, she pretty much demanded that "by tonight", my Mom needed to take a picture of the license plate to show her (we never ended up doing that...). Since we had a lot of bags, I used a luggage cart that they had in the lobby to bring our bags upstairs. The cart was super hard to navigate and the wheels would barely move. It kept crashing into walls and not moving. There is only one elevator in the entire motel, and it runs slow as molasses. (And the elevator is SMALL), it fits 3-4 people comfortably MAX. Any more than that is super super confining and claustrophobic. When we got into our hotel room, the room seemed clean. The remote is covered in plastic (that we were NOT to remove according to the directions). There was also a sign in the bathroom talking about how all everyone raves about their "spa towels" and how they're able to be purchased for a set price. The towels felt SUPER rough... In addition, if any items were missing, they listed an itemized price list of how much you would pay for each item. Once we got in the room, I left the luggage cart outside our room (figuring that hotel staff would grab it and bring it down). Five minutes after we got in our room, we received a phone call on the hotel phone. I answer and the Front Desk asks if I took a cart. When I said yes and that I left it outside the room, she says "Can you bring it down for the other guests to use since there's only three?" Is it normal for hotel guests to have to bring the cart back down??? I almost wanted to ask what their hourly rate was so that they could pay me... Our hotel room also had a door which appears to be a conjoined room. However, we were nervous since the door didn't 100% close within the door frame (or at least didn't look like it), so we were scared someone from next door could come in if they really wanted to. We slept fine in the room (the bed and the pillows were comfortable enough. In the morning, when we were checking out, we went in the elevator and there was a used condom in the corner......... We notified the front desk and they were appalled that they had never seen that in their 26 years of working as a staff member. Also, the cleaning supplies that the maids were using were very very strong and have a sickening powdery chemical smell. It ended up choking my Nana, and she is used to cleaning with bleach which is strong.. All in all, the motel served its purpose (we were only here two nights), but I wouldn't want to come back...

Bring your own towels, washcloths, tissues, TP and your patience! Motel 6 corporation should send someone to monitor this place. Some of the issues beyond what I've mentioned are sliding doors do not close completely - they actually use a piece of wood to use as a lock on the door. Really??? Also the bathroom door has louver slats that do not move and you can see directly into the room-no privacy! Ugh! I would not recommend anyone ever staying at this place -- ever!! Save your money and go to elsewhere!!

My wife and I often get hotel rooms for hot tubs. We usually go to Feathernest Inn in Cherry Hill…read morebut got what we thought was a great deal here. Not even 10 minutes after filling our hot tub around 4pm, the fire alarm started going off. It wasn't just in our room, it was the entire motel. Staff could not turn it off and had to wait for the fire department. The Lady behind the desk was super friendly, super nice, and super helpful. A firefighter and police officer came. They saw it was from the hot tub. The lady as well as both of them said it happens often and gave us suggestions on how to prevent it. We followed all of her suggestions. Around 8:30pm, right after filling the hot tub as we were getting ready to get in, the fire alarms started going off again. This time, a male employee appeared at our door. He aggressively pushed his way in, turned every single light on, looked in our bags, gave us an attitude as if we were trying to build a campfire or were criminals. We had zero candles, we don't smoke. We went downstairs to talk to him, he was talking down to us and at us. He tried to tell us not to use the hot tub them. We purposely booked that room and boom rooms for the hot tub. Why would we pay to not use it? He kept talking down to us and at us like we were criminals and scum of the earth. The same firefighter came back, looked around, said it was the hot tub again and was going to tell the male employee they need to move the smoke alarms if they're going to have hot tubs. The male employee also seemed to be rude to the firefighter when he told him that. The guy at first said we'd get a 50% refund even the lady earlier told us if it happened again and we wanted a full refund we could. Then he told us no refund. Then he told us a refund. We booked through Expedia so hoping he truly refunded us or we will be arguing it with our bank. The shower curtain is covered in mildew which at first we were willing to look past since we usually just use the hot tub all night. One more thing, they did not salt in front of their office. I almost slipped on the ice going into the lobby.

It was a slightly larger room with a sofa just a few feet away from the beds. Not only was this not a suite, but the bathroom sink was just a few feet away from the bed. If one needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, they would have to awaken everyone in the room by turning on the light to wash their hands. We decided to make the best of it, and looked for ice in our freezer to have a drink (kitchen was also in the one big room). No ice. No ice cube trays. We called the front desk to ask for the location of an ice machine. She told us to move the arm down on our ice maker. We told her there was no ice maker. She insisted there was. We told her again there wasn't. She didn't believe us. She finally offered us some ice from their kitchen, which we had to go get. Breakfast. Wasn't. Apples, cereal, granola bars and packaged, sugary muffins. There was a toaster, but nothing to toast. Even the cheapest motels offer bagels, English muffins or bread. Oh, and they allow animals. If you are allergic, or don't want to hear barking at all hours, stay away. Come to think of it, stay away anyway. They got a star because the bed was comfortable. They also do not provide any service. You need towels, or soap, or anything - come and get it....lol. Don't forget to make your bed.

There was an unknown splatter on the bathroom wall, behind the door, not sure if it gets missed or is stained. full kitchen is nice. The vinyl couch and chair were weird 80s vibe I generally don't complain but it wasn't as clean as it should be, there was food remnants in the microwave and fridge.
