Order at a counter, and they bring you food to your table. What we ordered: 1. Pinsa Romana with Stracciatella - Translation, a very margherita-esque pizza, but think very fresh and soft mozzarella. The dough is heavier and has a slightly sour taste a la sourdough. First thing we finished and would order again. 2. Aglio y olio + spinach + shrimp. Delicious. Our second favorite and would order again. 3. Cacio y pepe with broccoli added. For my American tastes, this was too heavily white pepper and not black pepper. It was a lot for me to scarf down in one dish and no one else liked it enough to eat this family-style. Would have just doubled up on aglio & olio if I were to visit again, which I would. Overall, a very nice place to sit down and have a casual meal. Would come here again.

The pasta was just the right texture. No wait around 8:30pm and my food came out super fast. There were only a few other customers, plenty of open seats.

After all, we had a stressful journey from Valencia that required us to transfer to a different train in Barcelona. Once we checked in and walked out of the hotel, I just pointed to this spot like there was no other choice. Fortunately it wasn't bad. It could've been because it's one of the waterfront eateries that draw passing tourists like Republicans to gay escorts. The menu was fully Italian and pretty robust with a variety of choices. We decided to split a couple of things. The first was the 14,9€ Insalata Cesar, a Chicken Caesar Salad they served in a flatbread basket (Photo 9). They served mixed greens instead of romaine. Although light on greens and grilled chicken, it had a lot of Parmesan shavings, focaccia croutons, and Caesar dressing. The second item was the 18,9€ Pinsa Pancetta e Tartufo, a surprisingly large flatbread topped with truffle cream, Italian pancetta, melted mozzarella, mushrooms, and black truffle pearls (Photo 10). It was definitely enough for two. All in all, pretty good for a dining impulsive choice. FOOD - 3 stars...overloaded Caesar but the pinsa was satisfying enough AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...we sat in the enclosed patio which was just fine for us SERVICE - 3 stars...a bit discombobulated TOTAL - 3 stars....you could do worse among the waterfront eateries here RELATED - Exploring Sitges? Walking in the front room full of people and old antique furniture and plates was very charming. Felt like a lot of dressed up locals. We were lead to back room for 9pm (opening time) reservation (someone on Yelp recommended! TY!) Saw another table kinda blasé attitude with their food or unhappy in general and maybe not a good day. I couldn't decide between the Lasagna & Eggplant parmigiana. The waitress said to get the beef Lasagna for sure kind of their specialty-wow! Yes!! I could have eaten a second! Thinking of this place in hindsight is making me hungry and bummed to not know a place this good. Fresh pasta! Trying everyone else's pasta I think Mine was best. Paper thin sheets of Lasagna noodles and sauce, then Carbonara 2nd place and bolognese 3rd-not enough sauce-for the bolognese. Red wine by glass was perfect too. Worth every penny! Even the kids Lemonade was uniquely delicious.
