Nice breakfast, excellent coffee, friendly staff. Could have been a five-star experience, but I hate drinking coffee out of a paper cup and eating off a disposable plate. Didn't think to bring in my togo cup since we were eating in. read more

The quiches are a must try! Coffee is really good. Pastries are delicious! Friendly workers and good vibes around! Very local! Highly recommended! read more

We had lunch at the Cafe on Sunday, Sept. 15th. Most places to eat in Truth or Consequences were closed as it was a Sunday. My wife had the quiche and salad and I had the tuna melt; both were good. We had the raspberry pie for dessert which was also good. We would probably pick another cafe on our next visit. read more

Delicious waffles, especially the passion pear wafflewich. Salty feta and sweet honey make a delectable match. Pour-over coffee is totally worth the wait and the cost. The Elvis waffle proves that Elvis had good taste! Super friendly service and a nice vibe. read more

I ordered a chocolate milk, and the fat Elvis waffle. I will never eat waffles the same way again! I definitely recommend the fat Elvis! Do yourself a favor and order that item! I mean once in a while... But still. It was awesome read more

A nice place to grab breakfast or lunch and coffee while in T or C. It's a smaller place and can get crowded. I travel often as a software developer, and coffee shops are great go-to places for me, but be aware that this one is not a good place to work and you might get lectured if you are there for more than an hour or two, even if the place is completely empty. read more

We were sad that the coffee joint we wanted to go to was closed--until we found Passion Pie. Great menu, with lots of choices for vegetarians. Breakfast or lunch, lots of variety, everything made with care. The coffee is excellent. Staff is friendly, good wifi, nice atmosphere. Yum. Don't miss the from-scratch baked goods. read more

If you want really good coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, I highly recommend this place: they take their coffee very seriously. They have a whole assortment of pastries, quiches and croissants and even pizza. I had their breakfast croissant which was delicious and felt like a full meal. There are about 11 tables, the tops of which are decorated by local artists (that a sign says you may purchase) and two tables are outside on the sidewalk. The work of local artists is also on the walls, and beside a big comfy sofa is a bookshelf if you want to sit and read....(you may take a book if you bring one in exchange.) Cool vibe, friendly staff, great coffee and pastries. And the town movie theatre is across the street! I'll most definitely be back when I'm back in T or C. read more

The quiche is outstanding! Soooooooo good!! We had the green Chile corn feta.....such a cool atmosphere. Good vibes, good music, beautiful artwork! The pie crust on that quiche is from heaven! Thanks for everything! read more

Wow wow wow. What a place. Tried the breakfast croissant, it was the best I've ever had. Also had the Elvis Waffle, very tasty. Even the Rice Krispy treat was amazing. To go we got a peaches and cream muffin, which we devoured when we got home. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. read more

Don't be an idiot and not go here. This place is a gem of New Mexico. Get the Fat Elvis. Thank me later.

We came in for breakfast and had some delicious waffles. The Fat Elvis is peanut butter, banana and bacon perfection. The cold brew coffee was delicious, didn't need cream, sugar or anything. We ended up coming back later for dessert. Delicious cupcakes and macaroons. We will absolutelybreturn whenever we are in town read more

Great baked goods made from scratch in the on site kitchen. We had orange cranberry and sesame raspberry jammy muffins and coffee. Interesting local artwork for sale. Worth a stop! read more

The food and coffee here are fantastic! Lots of vegetarian options, saldads, quiches, sandwiches! Every tastes fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious. My favorite here is the Iced Toddy Coffee, meaning it is cold-brewed, and you can definitely taste the difference. The desserts are also great, specially the honey-lavender cake. Service is always fast, and they are reliable open when they say they will be! The art is great, and during a long day at work, I fantasize about going in, grabbing a book and drinking good coffee right here. read more

Lovely lunchy food and excellent sit with your lap top all afternoon vibe. Friendly warm staff and owners, reliable wifi, good music too. The unusual specials are the alway to go: chocolate peanut butter and bacon cupcakes and spinach feta waffles and don't miss the dreamsicle, a beverage that is quite over the top with yum. A must stop in T or C, nice place to mingle and catch the personality of the town's people. read more

This place is awesome! Delicious quiche, salad, soup and coffee cake! I'm sure everything they whip up is terrific. You can tell food is fresh and made with lots of love. Iced chai and latte was also perfect! If I lived in T or C I'd be happily plump eating a sweet treat from here on the daily! read more

What a wonderful surprise! Our group of east coast city dwellers raved over the excellent lattes, quiches, and baked goods. Super friendly service and colorful, quirky art adds to the experience. I wish I had a coffee shop/bakery half as great as this in my neighborhood back in Boston. read more

Passion Pie Cafe - Tea with love! - Cafes Near Me - Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

Stopped in at the Passion Pie this morning for breakfast after a run. The coffee was great, but the food was even better. I ordered the breakfast waffle and it was hands down the best waffle I've ever had. Eggs were cooked perfectly. I will be back! read more

Well they took the PB&J waffles off the menu, but they still made some for us! Yeah! The breakfast croissants are pretty dang good too. My wife thinks my 4 star rating is being pinche. read more

We stayed in the area for an extended period of time, and I'm addicted to their coffee drinks. Their baked items are imaginative and fun, as well as whatever comes out of the kitchen. Top shelf. The facility itself is impeccably clean. I understand the Brazen Fox is owned by the same ppl, and it's the same there - great imaginative food combinations and super clean. I was, however, disappointed in their bean bulk purchase coffee. It is bitter and not what they use in their coffee drinks. I won't make that purchase again, but I'll be back for everything else! read more

This place is amazing. Go for the breakfast waffle! Best waffle I have ever eaten. There was a small wait but well worth it. This could have been contributed to us eating there on a holiday. I think everyone in town wants to eat here! Five stars all the way! read more

My husband and I had breakfast here during our stay at one of the local resorts. He had the Fat Elvis waffles and I had the veggie waffles. They were both delicious. The restaurant was crowded around 8 am, and there was a bit of a wait, nothing too bad. But the lady sitting beside us waited a full hour to receive her waffle. read more

Started swerving on I-25 so I pulled into Truth or Consequences for some coffee but wasn't about to drink from a gas station. Passion Pie is a hip little cafe on a cool looking Main St. strip that makes a terrific quadruple latte and and extraordinary blueberry coffee cake (have them heat it up for you). This coffee cake inspired my wife to start making coffee cake and for that I have to admit my life is boosted because of Passion Pie. This cafe is tapped in to an artsy little scene that just might be emerging. I'll have to keep an eye out for TorC shenanigans. read more

Terrific fresh food...in a simple setting. Waffles great - croissants, too!

The carrot cake was out of this world. The coffee was good and the clientele was high spirited.

Amazing pastries & super cute place. Way better than any chain coffee shop. A great place to frequent or stop on your way through T or C. We had the Berry of the Forest muffin which had whole blueberries, an amazing cheese danish & a croissant breakfast sandwich. Unreal! read more

Great coffee and decent coffee shop style breakfast. Really cool place to have coffee during our little hot springs outing. Highly recommended. read more

Simple food made with quality ingredients and love. I was shocked at how everything tasted so delicious. It's just a croissant sandwich, no, it's a perfect croissant sandwich. When it's done correctly, simple food is the best food. read more

This is a cute little coffee and pastry shop. After walking in the first thing I notice is the artwork on the walls and painted tables (which they advertise as for sale). Don't expect a Starbucks experience, which may be a selling point for most of us actually. We had to stand in line for a while for our coffees because there was one lady behind the counter and she doesn't multitask well. All of her attention is given to a single drink at a time. This would be a nice place to chill out and read or do some work on your laptop. I'm not sure if they have wifi though. read more

I am so happy I stumbled upon this hidden gem. This dainty, non-suspecting restaurant offers coffee, teas, savory fare and scrumptious pastries. I had a hard time deciding between a muffin, a cookie, a mini pie, the choices seemed endless! I went with a piece of the blackberry walnut ricotta cake and vanilla latte. Great coffee and quality baked items! read more

Came all the way from Albuquerque just to eat here. Had the breakfast croissant with bacon and it was amazing. Then had a slice of banana cream pie. It was huge. And made me realize I've never really had a good piece of pie. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Great little place to get a coffee and a snack! Very charming.

The breakfast waffle with bacon built in was the highlight of my day. Delicious. And great coffee, excellent vibe. A true gem in Truth or Consequences! read more

Wow! What a great little independent coffee house! Good coffee, good breakfast sandwich, good vibes in an eclectic setting. Served by a real person in a real business, not an automaton in a food service chain. Too bad it's 1500 miles from my home. read more

Very early this morning, we snacked on muffins, coffee and teas before getting on a 11 hour car ride back to California. Friendly staff, good service, good drinks. Small shop but nice stop for anyone visiting the TOC. read more

This is a pretty cute bakery/coffee shop on the main drag and populated by locals and tourists alike. The coffee was fair and it was a plus that they serve espresso. I had their quiche; it was a little on the bland side (more salt and flavorful cheese, please). This was a green chili cheese and corn quiche; the corn was frozen the crust although it looked made on the premises, was over-cooked and seemed to be all shortening (I prefer butter and shortening combo). I'd say it's a good place to people watch while having a cup of Americano... read more

This place is perfect! The waffles are outstanding--light and airy and crisp on the outside, with a slightly chewy center. Served with real maple syrup, it was a super amazing breakfast. Plus, they brew a nice cup of coffee. Truth or Consequences is an adorable, funky little town, and Passion Pie Cafe definitely adds to it! Would drive out of my way to come back here just for the waffles!! read more

This place is cute and friendly. Pretty small for sitting but quick and easy for breakfast.

Came to town to visit the in-laws & was excited to try a local coffee shop. This spot hit the spot! Delicious, strong coffee, and desserts to die for! Thanks Passion Pie, we'll be back next time! read more

We ate here for lunch when passing through on I-25. This place is definitely worth getting off the highway and driving into town a couple of miles. My wife had the broccoli quiche and it was the best she has ever had. I had the ham and cheese croissant and it was excellent. We will definitely be back the next time we are driving through. read more
