She got some basic facts from me and regretfully informed me that the statute of limitations had passed on the issue I was calling about after about two minutes. I really appreciate how this firm did not waste my time and connected me to someone knowledgeable from the get-go. I also really appreciated that she expressed sympathy for the death in our family and for the time limit to sue running out. I called another firm earlier where a secretary spent thirty minutes gathering data from me and she did not know that my chance to sue had passed. She did not express any sympathy for the death in our family nor for any of the rest of the traumatic story that she documented. So I'm glad that I called Buckfire, they saved me a lot of time and I appreciate the sympathy from the person I spoke to.

They wanted to charge me $150.00. The lawyer said he would reimburse me. The doctors took 19 months to send SOME of the records. But would only send them to my other doctor!! That doctor sent them to the attorney. It still wasn't ALL of them. The attorney then, sent me a letter saying "I don't think this is a SLAM DUNK" and he won't be able to take my case, because now there wasn't enough time to hire enough specialist, but I was free to call another attorney. His assistant told me to call Mike Morse back, I messaged him again, I thought I was chatting with him, he said to call the office. Whoever answered, said there's nothing they can do because they already referred me out once. So, now I'm stuck with permanent nerve damage from a doctor who performed back surgery on me, and he wasn't even a surgeon?? And there isn't a damn thing I can do about it.

During the entire time, not once was I asked to come in for a personal meeting as my condition worsened. I am a Design Engineer and design automotive components on a computer program. I was making 6 figures. $$. I I developed an intestinal condition. That blood markers said was an intestinal tumor, even though subsequent test could not locate a tumor. However, it wasn't the stomach that prevented me from working. It was the side affects from the condition. Which was extreme cramping. I couldn't even squeeze my computer Designing mouse without my hand cramping. I Can Not do my job without that ability. I can't use a keyboard for designing. After well over a year I was denied disability. But the explanation made no mention of the cramping issue. When I mentioned that to my lawyer, he requested a re-consideration. (No ability to say why). Months later, that was denied. The final stage (court hearing) came. & I was not coached at all as to the format, or what the judge was looking for. Also, no preliminary test on my ability to connect to the online hearing like I've had with other online appointments I've had. As a result, the Judge could not see me, only hear me. Even though I mentioned the cramping, I believe it was never presented by the lawyer. (Which was switched from my original Lawyer). & The new lawyer requested an additional 3 weeks from making a decision to allow for medical reports from recent Drs appointments, even though I've already submitted an inch thick medical report. I believe all that contributed to the final decision by the Judge denying my claim. My health has declined considerably since filing. I've lost about 35 lbs, since I'm not processing the vitamins & minerals I eat, the cramping issues have worsened. Had I been seen on occasion by your firm, you may have witnessed my decline.. As it is. Your firm declined any attempts to appeal that decision. As a final note. I would not have given over $100,000 for a quarter of that if I was able to continue. Late or flawed designs, would have ruined the company I worked for. Thank you Levine Benjamin

I thought staff would laugh in my face for waiting so long (I had no intention of suing until I found out insurance was getting involved and had to defend myself), but I spoke to a secretary who took my story and she right away connected me to sam Bernstein and my lawyer, Leonard Miller. I truly didn't expect much since their payment wasn't guaranteed, but every time I came to the (clean, beautiful) office I was treated with respect. I was only called to appear in the office twice and didn't have to go out of my way anywhere else. I felt comfortable whenever I called to ask questions. Shereen, Sandra, and Pat were always pleasant with me and returned my calls in a timely manner. My lawsuit has been settled within a year. If i allowed Leonard continue fighting instead of accepting the very fair settlement I was offered, I'm sure I could have received a bigger settlement but this issue has already caused me so much stress and anxiety and I'm glad to be done with it.
