And he didn't tell me until I went to get my Dentures back after the appointment that he had already started taking them apart. I was Livid, I had to meet all these people with no Dentures, no way. I had to cancel and people were not happy with me. I was Livid with him for not telling me in advance, especially since he screwed up not me! They ended up giving me $400 of the $5000 back to make up for it. Didn't make up for it but I thought at least they are trying. When he was finished my Dentures I told him I could not eat with them because the bottoms would pop up. He made some adjustments and I also figure I would have to get use to them and then I should be able to eat no problem. That never happened. So I made an appointment for my 1 year check and alignment. They called to re-schedule my appointment for a day later then it was because they booked me to see him on his day off. So I show up for my appointment, there was no one in the reception area so I just sat there for about 15 minutes and then he came out of the back and got me. He asked me how everything was and I told him I still can't eat with them. As soon as I take a bite the back of the bottom dentures flip up and over. He put the sun glasses on me and the drewl bip. Looked at me from the front and said bite down. Then he said bite down again. Then he said can't help you, he mumbled something about not wasting time on them. The he said the stupidest thing I heard him say. he said "You brought this on yourself, it's your fault" I was in shock, not sure what he meant at all and then I started to get upset. He said you should have implants do you want me to make you an appointment for them to see you, I said No! Then he says "Ok i'll book you in for next years check up and I said why? You just said theres nothing you can do!! He said ok and I got up he said goodbye and I walked out very confused and upset. I wonder if he was suppose to be on medication? and what the heck he meant when he said this was all my fault?? I won't go back and will not recommend them. It was a Horror story from the first appoinment. I don't know what his problem was? Especially how he could tell anything by biting down. My teeth come together fine so I have no idea what his problem was. Very rude and unprofessional.

The concerns about treatment decisions, communication, professionalism, and accountability made me lose confidence. Dental care requires trust, and I don't feel comfortable putting my health in the hands of someone with these reported issues. Everyone should do their own research before choosing a dentist, but based on what I found, I will be looking for care somewhere else instead.

Dr. Sandhu was a great dentist, until he wasn't - and then he was the worst…read more If this was just about my dental work, this would be a very different review. Sadly, that's not the case. My wife went in for some extractions in preparation for partial dentures. There was a questionable (not really after seeing the x-rays) tooth that should have been removed but Dr. Sandhu decided to make the decision himself and leave it (rather than calling me - I'd have had him pull it)....over a long weekend....with no antibiotics and no pain killers. Long story short, my wife was in AGONY for 4 days until we could get back in for the extraction. Here's where things get weird... I was angry - yes I was. I gave him an opportunity to explain himself but all he had was lame excuses why it was anyone's but his fault. I told him that was BS and he needed to quit with the excuses and accept responsibility for his mistake. That's when he became extremely loud, combative and threatening (I was seated the entire time and he was standing). I told him, "You don't want to do this!" to which he replied "No, YOU don't want to do this!". At that point he squared off to me as if we were going to fight physically. Yeah.....you can't make this stuff up. At some point during that mess, I fired him (for any further work for me - not my wife - she's since fired him as well). So now I have 25K worth of dental surgery and implants with no warranty (I'm losing the last 3 years of a 5 year warranty). Enough of that - I left so my wife could get the dental work done she so desperately needed. Dr Sandhu could have avoided this entire mess with two little words - "I'm sorry." Then again based on his history I doubt those words are in his vocabulary (only my opinion of course - I couldn't possibly know for sure). Arrange for the transfer of care for any patients undergoing active, finished or maintenance prosthodontic treatment, including implant treatment, to another qualified dentist." So, a dental surgeon that can't perform anything remotely related to surgery or implants?!!? I wish I'd done my homework as this is the exact same thing he was reprimanded for in 2019. No doubt my implants are going to fail leaving me with a mess. Oh, and then there's the impaired from 2019. A Dr. that thinks it's ok to take other people's lives in his hands by driving drunk? (technically he refused to provide a breath sample - same charge - lost his license for a year). In short - just stay away. I'd guess this entire practice is circling the drain at this point. I'd imagine one more complaint to the college about Dr. Sandhu and he'll likely lose his license to practice dentistry and dental surgery. That would be rough but well deserved I'd say... (although I will feel bad for his staff as most of them are wonderful).

He carries himself with a high level of professionalism. On top of that, he is warm and sincere along with a great sense of humor in which he creates a relaxed, comfortable environment and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure you feel confident in his care throughout the entire process. A very friendly dentist's office I have been really happy about the dental care I have received…read morethere. I'll start with a little info about me, I hate going to the dentist and avoided going at all costs, in fact I hadn't been in over 7 years, continually putting it off for fear of being judged! I guess you could call me a dental delinquent! Thanks to some not so gentle encouragement from my fiancee I finally agreed to go to her dentist after she explained how non-judgy they are here and she was 100% correct! I have seen both Dr. Bhargava and Dr. Telang here and they are both incredibly friendly (and non-judgmental) about your teeth! Dr. Telang explained in great detail all of the stats she was discussing with the hygenist as well as explaining in easy terms what you need to do. The hygenists here are also very friendly and gentle, despite needing to use many of the little hooks I had very little discomfort or pain! One final bonus is that they will deal directly with insurance if you have it, eliminating the hassle of having to deal with insurance companies yourself!
