I cannot say enough good things about the positive experience I had with Worldwide Flooring. I…read morewent in there thinking I would only be able to afford vinyl or laminate flooring, and ended up with beautiful engineered hardwood throughout my entire house. My designer, Barbara Campbell, was wonderful to work with. She was patient, and even though I changeed my mind a couple times, she made sure all my billing was up to date. She also made sure I got the best price with the most current sales promotion. My installers were highly professional and excellent at their job. My entire house done in two days. I honestly never thought I would be able to afford hardwood flooring throughout my house! I could not be happier! Worldwide was probably the third place I went to. In addition I had several independent contractors come out look at my house. They were by far the most reasonable. I am very glad I went with them. I will be going back to see Barbara when I need to purchase my area rugs, as well as redo my kitchen and bathroom floors. Thank you!

Anything that we can say negative about this vendor has been said by others. Worldwide sent an…read moreinstaller (Don) to our house to install 350 sq ft of porcelain tile. He and his helper removed the old tile and, even though they stunk from smoking and took lots of breaks to sit in their truck, they did get the old tile removed cleanly. After that, their work fell apart. Don refused to follow the contracted process regarding subflooring. His tile installation was uneven as a result. His quarter round replacement was sloppy woodwork and he left the toe kicks under the cabinets hanging loosely (no glue or anything). After running late for several days, the installers left without quite completing the job. The job was for about $9,000. Worldwide looked at it afterwards but would not send anyone other than Don to repair it and we were unable to get him scheduled. We withheld about $3,800 via credit card disputes and another company has done the repairs for about $5,500. We will never contract for any work to be done by Worldwide subs again.

$25,000... for TWO Christmas Trees?!…read more I don't normally blast a business on social media, but this one... this one deserves it. And honestly, I need to vent before my head explodes like an overinflated ornament. As many of you know, my wife and I recently moved into a big, beautiful new home. So, wanting to do something special for her first Christmas in it, I decided to surprise her by having the inside professionally decorated for the holidays. The plan was simple: we'd walk up to the front door after our Thanksgiving cruise, she'd see a single elegant wreath, open the door, and BAM--Christmas magic. Hallmark-movie level brilliance. Something she'd remember forever. Well... she'll remember it. Not in a good way. I found a company online called Black Eyed Susan in Doylestown. I spoke with Susan herself -- and in hindsight, the red flags were waving like a parade. But I ignored them, gave her a $25,000 budget, sent photos of the house, arranged access while we were away, and paid a deposit. Fast-forward to the big reveal. We pull up to the house, and instead of holiday wonder... We're greeted by two massive flower pots tipped over on the front steps. Dirt everywhere. My wife is already annoyed. We spend 10 minutes trying to lift the things before realizing the bottoms are ROUND. Not flat. ROUND. Who even designs pots that way? The answer: someone selling overpriced junk. But hey, maybe the inside would redeem things... right? Spoiler alert: it didn't. We open the door expecting Christmas brilliance, and instead--we get... A Christmas tree in the foyer. Just one. And not even a remarkable one. Literally just... a tree. And some droopy, wilted green garland that looked like it had fought a battle with a weed whacker and lost. That's it. For the whole entryway. We turn the corner into the family room, and there's another Christmas tree -- this one comically oversized, like it was trying to escape from a shopping mall. A few random glass balls dangled from the upstairs walkway. Four windows got lonely ornaments. And the mantle -- which on Susan's website looks glamorous and luxurious -- had the saddest strand of wilted garland you've ever seen. I've seen more impressive greenery at Home Depot in JULY. So for $25,000, what did we actually get? Two Christmas trees and some wilted greenery. That's it. That's the whole list. After a few days of trying to reason with Susan the Snob -- who, by the way, speaks to customers like she's hand-selecting decor for the Queen of England -- I realized something: My wife was supposed to get a Hallmark Christmas. Instead, I accidentally hired the villain of the movie. I even tried to be MORE than fair. I told her she could take everything back and keep $10,000 just for her "time." But nope. Susan the Snob decided she wants ANOTHER $5,000 from me. $5,000. For... what exactly? The dirt on my porch? Feel free to tell her what you think of that idea. And finally -- if anyone wants two giant, overbearing Christmas trees for next year... come get them. Free of charge. Because we will NEVER be using them again.
