Our server, Claira, checked our IDs when we ordered food and drinks - which is fine - but after we had already been waiting about 20mins a manager named Jackson came over and asked to check our IDs once again. He proceeded to bend them and closely inspect them over and over before walking away without saying a single word! He came back shortly after and said we could not be served because 2 of the IDs seemed "fake". For context, we are all well over 21. I'm 25, and my cousin is 24. There was no real explanation given beyond his personal judgment. We even suggested scanning the IDs to verify them, but they don't have a system in place to actually authenticate identification. So essentially, the decision was based purely on assumption. To clarify, we didn't see them go to anyone else's table to do this. Mind you, we are people of color who were just trying to have a good time. We had to leave only 40mins into the game, ruining our nights and they did nothing to make things right. We came here expecting to enjoy time with family and instead left feeling uncomfortable, profiled, and disrespected. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There are no mats so you're hitting off the dirt. It's fairly cheap for the area for a bucket of balls. I've heard the course itself isn't great with a lot of burned out greens and fairways. She recommended an excellent DJ (Royal Lewis) and made other excellent sugestions without any pressure. Well kid, where do you I got those two golf bags full of balls from? Told him I did go to the club house, as it is my first time here, and paid $7 dollars for 45 balls in a bag. At this point, I expect some sort of embarrassment or regret in his face of accusing a woman of collecting golf balls from the range and hit? But no, with straight face he said "then your fine" Perhaps I look different? I really don't know what to think of the reason why he came up to me and told me what he did.

This course may have the best greens in Raleigh. The owners continue to put money back into the…read morecourse and facilities. The layout is fun and challenging. It tops out at about 6,500 yards. Realistically the majority of people shouldn't play a course that is any longer. The staff is great. Both the proshop and grounds crews work hard to provide a good experience. This is a semi-private facility with a healthy membership. I've been a member for 25 years and liked it so much I bought a home in the golf course. The location can't be beat. This is the most convenient course to RDU, I-540 and most of the NW Raleigh area. Wildwood Green offers the best value in Raleigh.
