I went to PASCAP Recycling with a bunch of different metal to scrap. HUGE PLACE! I went in, figured out where I needed to be, then started to unload my metal. The guys there work very fast! They start weighing the materials, entering in prices and try to get you out of there as fast as possible.
This was my first time there so it was a learning experience for me. There are no signs or anyone telling you want to do. You come in, figure it out, weigh your metal, get a receipt, park outside on the street, then go get your money. I would have given it 5 stars had there been a little more direction on how it works.
The best part was that this place is so big, you get a receipt with all the materials, weights and prices right there. So you can compare it to other scrap yards. If you have scrap metal, bring it here. Bigger operations always offer much better pricing and service.
-Update: I'm pissed at PASCAP. Once again I went and they screwed me for the 4th time. The first I thought it was great because I was just learning. Now I know what I have and they try to get one over on you! They put my transformers as electric motors and my electric motors as CBM. Huge price differences. When i went to argue it they don't speak english and try to get you away from them. I won't be going back. I'll support my local guy from now on. His prices are lower, but he's a nicer guy. read more
