So, Seth is the Man! He helped me with a surprise delivery for a special occasion. He asked what…read morethe person liked, what my price range was-then, he made suggestions and helped me put together a great gift! And, he was so nice!! K & S has a really great selection of liquor. I was hoping for a top shelf bourbon I had heard of. He had it and helped me pick out a couple of micro brews from Deschutes (my favorite brewery!) to go along with it. I can't thank Seth enough for his awesome help! Very fair and competitive pricing, nice selection of liquor and beer, great customer service, and they deliver or have curbside pick up during this time. Cheers!!

K&S is the only liquor store we patronize in Derby. We discovered it because it's right next to our…read morehouse... literally walking distance. We keep going back because their customer service is excellent. They're receptive when we ask for things they don't carry, which is rare, because they have a great selection. We mostly buy beer and/or wine, but they have a good variety of spirits too. And they give a military discount (not on sale items, everything else though). Also a plus, a good selection of mini's...which I like to stock up on for travel.

As a beer enthusiast, I can't get enough of new brews and regional offerings. Any business with a…read moreliquor license can sell *beer*, but being able to sample from all corners of the country helps me appreciate the differences and subtle specialities of brewers everywhere. Do you get down with lagers or ales? Do you prefer malt over hop? What about heavier varieties, like Belgian trippels or imperial stouts? Whatever you fancy, Rob's World of Beer likely has something to scratch that itch. Sure, there are local beers represented, like Wichita Brewing Company or Flying Monkey, but there's also regional offerings from Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and more. Plus nation-wide craft offerings, such as brews from Oregon, where the hops are fresh on fresh, or New England, where the IPAs have that special bite. The selection is vast and the options are only limited by what you can carry and, well, how much you wish to spend. If you don't like the idea of buying a 4- or 6-pack and being unsure of your enjoyment, Rob's also has singles in the cooler that allows you to build your own array of beers.. Singles are arranged by style, such as sours, IPAs, or pilsners and 6-pack carriers are ready for you to fill. The service is quick to answer your questions or even make suggestions once they know your preferences. Tall shelves, lined with options, plus a walk-in for large quantity purchases (mostly national brand), and the singles cooler make for a fabulous beer destination.

When the transaction was in process, the clerk rang the beer up at a higher price! Upon questioning, the clerk informed me the it was an old price and pointed out a higher price on a display case. I felt that a retailer should honor a marked price in their store so I boycotted Sunny's for eight months! Last week I stopped by the store in hopes of speaking to the manager but instead encountered the same salesman as mentioned in the before indecent. I very calmly tried to communicate with him only to be met with a very agitated and aggressive response. He accused me spending 45 minutes in the cooler and posting an old sign which I had found in the cooler. Both are false accusations!

I own a restaurant in Wichita and was in Wellington catering a wedding. The father of the bride at…read moremy wedding was concerned that they were going to run out of beer, and asked if I would go into town and grab a couple cases of beer. I found Bob's and went in. Staff made no effort to ask if I needed anything or check on anyone in the store in any way. I went to the counter, rather than deplete the shelf's for the employees to just have to come behind me and restock, and asked if they had what I needed. The lady looked at me like I was an alien. She check led on her computer and told me that she had about 1/2 of what I needed. I told her I would just take what she had. She then asked if I "had an event", to which I explained my situation. She then said that she "couldn't sell me anything" and that she didn't get another shipment "until next week". The said "she needs product for her customers" to which I responded "but aren't I a customer". Shocked by her response......I just told her I would go elsewhere. If someone wanted to come into my restaurant and buy everything I had, I would help load them up! These people have no concept of business or customer service. Not only did they miss out on a sale, but I also told the owner of the wedding venue so he knows what to expect if he sends anyone else to this place. I ended up going to Bing Brothers just about a block away. Was greeted with a smile, got what I needed, got help loading it up and all ended well.
