Admittedly, I don't have too much to compare to as I've only done much smaller courses indoors. However, there are still 5 fairly large (IMO) courses) and it does largely require the advertised three hours. I think it's pretty good value for the experience, the relatively high staffing ratio and large course. There's quite a mix of obstacles in terms of crossing, so it's not simply repeating the same thing. All five courses each have their own zip line and some are a pretty good distance. I found staff very helpful and quite patient with everyone. You get about a 20 minute intro, but it's very much needed as you need to know how to hook yourself up safely and even set up on a zipline on your own (but they're there for the first one). I'll be honest, I did deliberately try and position myself near the start so I wouldn't be in the back of our cohort. You may want to consider doing the same, though it seems as though after a bit of time it spreads out pretty well. Note that the giant zipline that goes back and forth across the lake is an extra $18 or so. It's well worth it from my experience since you're travelling a few hundred meters (each way) and get the speed and distance you'd associate with a thrill ride. The ones in the course are still pretty fun though, especially when they're your first experiences. I was okay without gloves as I have fairly calloused hands, and I'm proud of my daughter for barely complaining though I could see they were a bit red when done. They should probably do a better job of suggesting it to people when purchasing tickets as I heard others expressing that they wished they had them. You hold onto cables virtually all times when crossing and at times there's a good amount of tension. Plus, for them, it's a wasted opportunity as they could probably make good money selling cheaper pairs. All that said, it doesn't affect my rating and I was fine personally. For me it made for a wonderful day and mixing: adventure, exercise and nature are right up my alley. A bit crazy that it took me so long to get to this place since it's so close, but very glad that I did.

The rink is quite small (an old H&M store), which is great for beginners, but gets a bit boring after a few rounds. They also provide "walkers" for absolute beginners. Most puzzles require special mechanisms that were especially made and it's done very well to merge with the existing environment. Owing to and out of respect for the surrounding historical buildings, there are nothing mechanical or electrical, which is charming in its own way. The way the escape experience is set up are that there are many 'buildings' in the village, though you will not visit them all in one play. Therefore, this escape is perhaps the first I've encountered that has actual replay value because you can definitely try a different building next time around. 6 players are recommended because some tasks may require you to subdivide into smaller groups to tackle. Overall, I find the experience very enjoyable, even more so than their Casa Loma games because of the illusion of open area exploration. My only real complaint is that I am really not a big fan of jump scares. With an entire genuine village, I feel the idea for an escape experience is limitless and is not limited to a cursed village - this idea is already done elsewhere. Four of us were experienced escape room enthusiasts and through teamwork, we completed the various tasks with 25 minutes to spare. We got bragging rights for finishing first. (Your group competes with up to 9 other groups.) What made this room extra special is that once we finished, we were given more tasks and experiences. (The average team completes two indoor rooms and 2 outdoor experiences.) One of the special experiences was universally our highlight of the room. What would have made this room extra extra special would have been if we were awarded buttons or given a special promotional code for their other rooms - for being first place finishers. The claw machine tokens are separate though so you'll have to purchase them inside. Once you receive your boarding pass, you give them to the staff there who says "Enjoy your vacation" and go through a mini security. I didn't get many pics because we were honestly too excited and just in awe. After security you go up the escalators and you've entered vacation!
