Their customer service is horrible. I rented chairs and tables etc for a surprise party. I paid extra to have everything delivered on a Sunday. I called to confirm on Friday and was told they will check and call me back in 10 minutes - never received a call back. I called the next day (Saturday morning) and they told me the tables/chairs were being delivered that day. This would have ruined the whole surprise and it's not what I paid extra for and was not on the contract. After hours of back and forth delivery was set for Sunday. Then the delivery was missing a chair- so I had to use a house chair which made the whole setup look bad. I called on Monday to let them know (never got a call back after being told I would the same day). I called again Tuesday and was told they will not charge me for the chair and setup which was missing . Credit card statement comes and I wasn't credited the items I did not receive. Plus they didn't come to pickup the tables/chairs etc until Thursday (which they said was going to be picked up Monday). The whole thing added an additional level of stress to planning a surprise party. I will never use them again and do not recommend anyone else renting from them. It will just give you a big headache. read more

Had a terrible experience in May 2025 for a Bridal Shower. I rented the tent in March ahead of time, but the quality of the tent was horrible. They put it up 2 days before the event, which was fine, because I got the tent in case of rain. It was old, rusty, and leaked all under the roof, with pinprick holes everywhere. It was challenging to keep everything dry; some of my unexpected expenses went into tarps just to cover the tables before the Party. Luckily, it did not rain on the day of, but bottom line, if it had, we would not have been able to have it under this tent. I called Maria, the woman who had helped me throughout, sent pictures, and told her what happened. She told me her people would be punished and offered nothing for the good sum of money I spent . Never heard back from her. SO this company is lacking in the integrity of their product and good business practices. Move on to another party company, I will never use them again. read more

Staff was nice. I brought my own balloons In to get filled. 15 of them to be exact. The owner could not tell me a price which was extremely weird. She said after they fill them they will tell me. I went to pick them up and it was $52! How is it $52 to fill up my own balloon. Absolute robbery. The dollar store will do it just so you know. Don't go here unless you have to. They robbed me. Went in to rent some chairs and tables for my sons birthday party. Maria Flynn was supper helpful! She also helped me select some really cool balloon arrangements for the party. She was communicative leading up to the event so I felt reassured of a seamless delivery. The day of the delivery the team went above and beyond! We weren't home and accidentally left a set of keys on the front porch. The delivery person called me and went the extra mile to stash the keys until we got home. The tables and chairs were as expected and the ballon arrangements looked amazing. Would highly recommend Party Corner and plan to make it our "go-to" party supply store. They do not accept any returns, even same day! Today we bought bought numerous items, $200 worth, for a small party planned next week. Upon getting home and unpacking we noticed the napkins matching the other items we bought were for a specific event (bridal shower, only printed that way on one side), so we can't use the set of matching items. We immediately called the store, and they said all sales are final, no returns. Final sale? OK. They can then consider it their final sale to us! There are plenty of good places to buy or rent party wares from. This isn't one of them. read more

Their was a woman at the counter who I was waiting to speak with but she was in the phone. She had a huge attitude to the customer on the phone and was rolling her eyes and giving her "sass". She acted as if the customer on the phone was a nascence to her. When she hung up she was very cold to me and made me feel unwelcomed. This is a horrible store. Not only is it poorly organized, but they have a very poor selection of items, although the store appears to be very large. When I was shopping for my friend's baby shower, the staff didn't help me at all. All they could say is "whatever we have is over there" and waved me off. Today, I tried to return some items that I didn't use because I found much better items at Dollar Tree and they wouldnt accept certain 'seasonal' items although they were clearly not used. They claimed it was for health reasons but the items here are not very clean to start with - dusty, sticky. I will never go back here for things that I can easily get for a fraction of the price at dollar stores. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. This is the second time I have used them and this is the second time. I have been extremely disappointed. The tents are horribly maintained. I ordered cathedral sides for the tent for my daughters Communion. The were moldy dirty and torn. They also charged us for weights for the tent that we did not need. This all happened previously with my other daughters Communion. They did refund us which I have yet to see. But I am sure if you want quality items use another company. read more

Cannot express my gratitude to the staff of Party Corner. From the time I placed my order for my daughter's graduation party until the set up, Party Corner was on top of their game. Wendy, Jen and Maria are amazing!! I was able to order tables, chairs, fans, linens, tents (one extra one the day before the party because of impending rain, along with additional side walls), jars for a candy station, a cotton candy machine and a customized banner. Andy came out to measure my property prior and he was very knowledgeable, as well. Then, I had the BEST delivery team a customer could ask for. Timely, immaculate and respectful. DO NOT GO HERE!!! While planning my upscale backyard wedding, i went there after looking online at rentals. While there, I was approached and they pleaded with me to give them a shot to come over and let me allow them to give an estimate for assorted items including tents, flowers chairs etc. I finally agreed, and guess what, she NEVER showed. Against my better judgement I still opted to rent what I orginally went there for, 1 week before my wedding even after leaving a 50% deposit, they called and told me they do not have what i wanted due to damage. Pay attention to every single detail when renting from them!!! We rented benches from them for our wedding ceremony on the beach. Our order was pretty simple and straightforward, but they couldn't handle it. Here's what went wrong: First the delivery was delayed and not set up by the time agreed upon by contract. Second, they didn't provide appropriate staffing so that my groomsmen had to assist in set up, even though we paid them for the delivery and set-up. There is literally a separate line item on our invoice for labor, yet they still didn't provide appropriate labor. Lastly, they knew a bench was defective and still set it up at the ceremony, causing harm to my guests when they sat down and the bench broke. I made them aware of these issues and I'm still awaiting for a call back from the GM. Don't think that will every happen. Horrible service, defective product. They had many opportunities to make it right and they didn't. STAY AWAY!! read more

Used them a few times most recently for my sons bday party. They have lots of costumes and party supplies, that's for sure. A little disorganized as I was asking for a specific hat for the little guys 1st bday party, and they (staff) were all over the place looking. Well staff consisted of two girls one helping one watching. No big deal just needed the hat as to avoid meltdown by wife! After literally 20 minutes we found the hat in the back room. This place is not going to supply you with party supplies to the level of a wedding or other "formal" event. It's mainly a place to rent or buy items for a birthday party, Halloween party, etc. The store does appear to perhaps be a bit disorganized and could be cleaner, however we have rented chairs there on two separate occasions, and were impressed with their level of customer service. On both occasions, we were late returning our chairs, which would normally incur a late fee. However the first time there was a a family illness that prevented us from returning them on time, and when we explained that to management, they said it was fine and we would not have to pay any late fees. The second occasion we got to the store 15 minutes after they closed. However, since management was still around, they let us return the chairs. Also, there was no sense of having to hurry or being "mad" at us for being late, which you might expect some people to have when a customer shows up late. Overall, a nice place to buy/rent party supplies, but not the best I've ever seen. Their level of customer service based on my two experiences warrants this four star rating. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how helpful they were! I didn't feel rushed or pressured to make a snap decision! If I hadn't called, I really don't know what would have happened. The window was shifted to between 6 - 6:30pm. The truck finally arrived at 6:50p. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me to determine what color scheme, size and texture would look best for my events. They are the perfect store to have in town! I ordered my linens for both parties last minute and they accommodated all my needs. They have everything you need to plan an event and they have items that are typically not found in the major party stores. No need to shop around...Party Corner has it all with friendly and caring staff and basic to top of the line items. My "go to" store!! Love it!! We recently used Party Corner through a recommendation from our wedding planner that we had hired for our beach wedding in Belmar, NJ. She thought they were a decent company to deal with based on previous experiences, but after this experience she has informed us that she will not use them as a referal from here on out. We rented 50 chairs and an archway for our beach wedding which was to be on the beach itself in Belmar...which was something clearly stated on the contract and afterwards several times by our wedding planner. When I arrived to the beach 45 minutes before the wedding to greet the guests coming in, my best man and I both noticed everything set up across the street in front of a gazebo & lake. The wedding planner told us she had instructed the company to contact her when they were on site to confirm the setup location, which they did not do that morning. The wedding planner contacted the company with her displeasure immeditely and thankfully the truck and the delivery men were nearby and the delivery people loaded up everything and then set up everything once again on the beach as me and my guests all stood around on the boardwalk waiting for them to put everything in the right spot. By the time they finished, it was five minutes before my wedding was to begin. Luckily for them, my wife was running a little bit behind so everybody was able to finally get situated before her arrival. If this was some sort of birthday party of some other type of event then I wouldn't care as much, but considering this was my wedding and the company failed to follow a couple of simple things that almost led to my wedding being delayed...I was not happy and I would advise people to look elsewhere for rentals. My wedding planner is currently attempting to get the company to refund us the delivery fee since they had a major screw up, but as of now they are being reluctant to do the right thing. read more

BUYER BEWARE. This establishment is not pro-consumer. By this, I mean that the company would rather lose future business than a dollar. Last week, I attempted to return a ~$9.00 serving bowl item that had all store price stickers fully in tact, with original receipt, within 10 days, in the condition it was sold to me, and was not used. The two women at the counter snottily refused the return citing "This item cannot be returned since it is opened.. There's a sign indicating it cannot be returned..." Now, when I purchased this item 10 days before, I specifically asked the return policy on all of the items that I purchased (some of which, Chinet cups & forks could be purchased at 1/3 of the price at Acme in Little Silver) and was told "10 days, unused, keep the price stickers in tact, and bring the original receipt." Party Corner will not see any of my future business. Party Corner will be missing out on 15 years of future patronage, as I am the mother of two small children. Hopefully, Party Corner management will read this review, as well as the one I intend to post on Google and other social media sites, and consider the implications of its poor customer service & return policy. read more

Rented a table and tablecloth for Easter dinner. Fee was reasonable bur delivery charge was $50.00 which I thought was outrageous as it is less than 2 miles of travel. When I asked for an explanation of the fee, I was told that the table was delivered from their Ocean Twp. warehouse and not the Shrewsbury location. Too many party stores to choose from to be ripped off by these people. read more
