I know that when I go to Party City I will find all of my party needs. The only problem is that they have closed all the ones near me.

This store in Sanford is very clean and well stocked. I come here often to buy balloons for my business. But while I'm here of course I always find all kinds of other cute stuff to buy. I like that they have a whole section of costumes even during the regular months. Yesterday they had 75% off their Easter and I got some really cute Easter ears. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. It's located in a shopping plaza with a bunch of other great stores. So you could spend a good 4-hour shopping at this plaza. Employees act like you burden them by being there. I stood at the register for 20 minutes while the only employee working blew up balloons. Looked at me Multiple times, didn't say a single word to me. After Finishing with that customer, she walked to the back of the store. Walked around the store looking for someone to check out with and couldn't find a single employee. Great supply, terrible attitudes. read more

I was having such a hard time finding a costume last second for Mickey's Halloween Party. I decided to give Party City a try. Their adult Disney costumes were seriously limited. When I asked the employee about the Rey costume he initially said they didn't have any. However I thankfully found my size towards the back of the store on a rack with other random costumes. It was close to $50 for the costume which is a bit pricey. However the cashier was super friendly and allowed me to use a coupon that made it slightly more affordable. It was 20% off my purchase I think. It made the costume a bit more reasonably priced. The costume design itself isn't ideal in the sense the legs aren't pants....so it's like wearing a onesie all night. However I thought it ended up working really well overall for a costume for me. read more

In the past, I've had some rough experiences at this Party City. But this Halloween season, their staff has been AMAZING. They are so kind and helpful, and even though they were working crazy long hours - they were so positive the whole time! They even kept the store open until midnight for the week leading up to Halloween. I went late to go grab a costume I had my eye on for a while, brought it home, tried it on, and the glasses to the costume were broken and unwearable. There was also a smudge on the dress itself. I called them and let them know the condition of the outfit. I went back there (this was at like 11pm) and they had a new outfit ready for me, refunded it AND gave me the new one at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price just for my trouble! I was SO shocked at this. Especially since I'm so used to so much attitude at Party Citys. I thank you guys and really, truly appreciate the service and kindness I've received. :) read more

Nice store with lots of party stuff for birthdays,weddings or Halloween. This store is pretty big and has lots of things for party's but not enough for young kid's,prices are okay and not even once was asked if we needed help. Check out was quick and store is clean and well organize. Over all this is a nice location with many other businesses around and close to the mall. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. This is my first poor review due to the experience that I had with trying to process a costume exchange. I purchased my daughters Halloween costume from Party City, she happened to grow so fast that it no longer fits her. I asked to do an exchange for a larger size. The costume is still in the same packaging and never worn. I walked in, waited about five mi minutes for the manager, Crystal. Her demeanor and body language was off putting. She made it seem as if my presence was bothering her and did not want to do the exchange without a receipt. She clearly saw that I purchased the costume from Party City as they have the exact same one in stock. She knew my situation, she showed zero empathy or solutions to me not having a receipt for an EXCHANGE! I could completely understand if I wanted a refund, but that wasn't the case. Completely unprofessional and unhelpful. Crystal is clearly in the wrong line of work. I will NEVER purchase anything from Party City again. There is too much competition for them to treat customers like that. read more

Ive only been to 2 other party city locations, but from my experience, it seems like they have a hard time keeping their stock up. They are always out of a lot of stuff, and what they do have, they don't seem to be able to keep that organized that well. That set aside, they do have some cool stuff, and it can be handy to find such a variety of party (or halloween costume) stuff, all under one roof. The staff seems pretty nice as well. Had the worst experience in this place yesterday, I got there at 9:20, needed some table cloths. I had spent $200 the day before and didn't have a problem so went back. Got my table cloths and notice they were 4 for 1, I got a couple due to the deal. I spent 25 minutes at the register and the employee couldn't get it to work and didn't even knew the deal. She calls her general manager (Jayson) who also didn't know what to do and had an attitude throughout the interaction with no empathy and then explained that it was only 8 per customer and I had to spend 25 on another item to activate the deal. Frankly, the sign is on the top of the shelve and it was even a struggle for me to get the table cloths on my own let alone see a tiny fine print on their advertisement. It seems that Jayson had his bosses there as well and they weren't even a tad bit kind or reasonable during this interaction where I didn't even get to buy what I wanted and I will not return. read more

This Party City is located in the large Super Target plaza at Reinhardt and WP Ball, next door to the Petco and World Market. If offers a nice selection of party supplies, holiday decor and seasonal merchandise. I recently popped in here as the Altamonte location was completely out of anything football, NFL or Superbowl related. Happily, this location did not let me down. They had plenty of team color items, football products/party supplies and Superbowl branded goods. I even left with some Ravens temporary tattoos and a Raven's mylar balloon, so extra bonus for me and thanks for having some fun team stuff since many area party stores did not. Staff was nice, checkout line moved quickly and prices were fine. I've shopped here for Halloween party goods and had a similar great experience. read more

I came in today looking for accessories for my homecoming week when I overheard a manager talking to her employee. The employee (Jordan) was being EXTREMELY rude to his manager (Desirae). He was acting like he was her manager and not giving her the respect that she earned. He was sitting at the balloon counter on his phone taking bad about her and she asked him nicely to go do something and he started snapping back. Even when she asked him to leave early, he TOLD her he was going on break and walked away. I do not appreciate rude employees and I hope he gets fired because it is unacceptable to have your employees act like this. If the managers other than Desirae see this I hope you guys take what I have said into consideration on behalf of her and her sanity. It even made me extremely mad just listening to this and the way he was talking to her. This does not sit well with me at all. Thanks and have a great day. read more

Growing up I have always loved Party City.. Recently I purchased the 12 pack gender reveal party poppers (girl) for my gender reveal party. I thought it would be a cute picture and fun way to reveal my little ones gender. When it came time for everyone to twist the poppers and take the picture less than half of them actually worked. It took me about 6 twists to get the confetti out. These poppers are poorly made and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. I was very dissatisfied with the quality, how many turns it took to get them to pop and the fact that not even half of them popped around the same time. read more
