After reading a host of cycling magazine reviews I opted to purchase a high end road bike from Partridge Cycles (only Cannondale dealership close by). Having purchased the bike and ridden it less than 2 miles the gears were playing up & then the chain snapped. I phoned the store immediately & took the bike in the same afternoon. I was told it was my fault for not being familiar with the gears & overloading them! (I've had similar bikes for the last 12 years which I have raced with no issues at all). As I had notified them immediately the problem occurred & had only ridden the bike for less than 10 minutes I asked for a refund (they didn't have anything similar to exchange) they refused point blank & pointed to their refund policy. I am currently in the process of taking them to court & will keep everyone informed of the outcome! I'd advice googling complaints about Partridge Cycles before parting with your hard earned cash here! Start with:
