We have used Parties by Stacey for over 7 years for different occasions and have never been disappointed. Stacey personally handles most clients - discussing via email/phone the exact details, any special requests, etc. and then follows up after the event to make sure everything went smoothly. She has provided a "bootcamp" party for a 7 year old boy, a clown (that wasn't scary at all), several princess parties, elves for holiday parties, a mad scientist and even a Spongebob! Whatever "extras" I wanted, she arranged those as well... cookies to decorate with all the extras, a pony for pony rides, jumpers, face-painting, balloon making, etc.etc.etc. I could go on and on! I never "special request" anyone because I like to get to know all of her performers, and have NEVER been disappointed by anyone she has sent. It takes a lot for me to rate a 1 star for any business - if there was an option for no stars, I would definitely choose that. I was invited to a Baptism/first birthday party of a family member and I recall from previous conversations with my sister-in-law there was supposed to be an entertainer/performer to show up for the children at the event. No one showed up!!!! My children including more than ten other children were really upset when we had to tell them that no one was going to come. THIS CRUSHED THE CHILDREN'S HEARTS!!!! I know the parents of the children were pretty upset and looked pretty annoyed, as they had to run after their kids and even end up leaving early because of this issue. How can an entity like this, especially for children do something like this? This gets better... Parties by Stacey had way in advance of notice for this event (dating back to April) AND a email was sent to Stacey confirming the date and time of the event at least a week before the event and a response came back saying: "Yes, you're all set!" REALLY??? NO, WE WEREN'T ALL SET. This has been such a stressful and mind boggling time! It's pretty sad because the guests STILL talk about it. I would NOT recommend doing business or referring anyone to Parties by Stacey as they can not deliver what they promise. I feel like this has been a big scam! What's even more sad, my sister-in-law never received her $75 deposit which she paid in April!!! Such an unprofessional way this has been handled, even to date. read more

I was not happy with Elsa appearance !! She wore flip flops with her outfits her outfit was not even ironed looked very unprofessional .... Face painting skills were not good at all .... We booked Stacey's through Fresh Bros' Pizza in Westlake for our 4 yr old's pizza party. Molly was our artist and she was fantastic, extremely professional. She showed up a few minutes early and in brightly colored attire, but nothing too "clownish" or over-the-top. She was very warm and engaging with the children, but not cartoonish the way some children's party artists/entertainers can be. She had taken the time to read the email about the party details from Fresh Bros, which I know because she recited them back to me (awesome for someone only scheduled to be there for 1 hr). She worked quickly on each kid but did fantastic little face paintings, complete with the sparkles they all LOVED! She even did some of the adults and many kids twice! I honestly cannot say enough about how impressed I was with the professionalism, courtesy, and quality of work displayed by Molly. Parties by Stacey was represented well by Molly! Her designs came out beautiful and she did it in a timely manner allowing all of the kids to get a chance to have their face done. She also shaped balloons into characters which the kids love. Very professional!!!! I just had my son's 5th birthday "superhero" theme. I've always been a little hesitant hiring characters because I have been to other parties where the characters aren't the most professional looking. When I spoke to Parties by Stacey, they were very helpful and accommodating. I hired Wolverine. He was on time, GREAT with the kids, and made my son's party very memorable for him. My kids always like to challenge me when it comes to birthday themes. My 8-year-old son has had Minecraft parties the past two years. I've had entertainers from Parties by Stacey in the past and was thrilled to learn that they could handle my kid's theme. We've had David two years running now. He comes in full Minecraft regalia and keeps all the kids running, jumping and "mining" while the other parent and I sit back and watch the fun. He is professional, he learns all the kids' names almost instantly (including a set of identical twins who he kept straight this year), and can paint Endermen (what even is an "Enderman?") with the best of them. I looked up this service on yelp and selected for my kid's first birthday party. I wanted something simple like face painting and balloon twisting. The prices were very reasonable and the service is great. An artist named Susan called us the day before and confirmed the timings and address of the event. She arrived on time to the party and was very friendly and interactive with all kids. She is truly an amazing artist. We has too many boys and the requests were from Spider-Man to Tree-Rex of Skylander Giants. She drew them all. All the guests were very much pleased with her services. I am glad I got Susan. I chose this company for my daughter's 2nd birthday party based on all the great reviews. I booked a face painter and that face painter called me about 10 minutes before her scheduled arrival time to tell me she was lost. I had to spend time away from my arriving guests to give her step by step directions to my house. A few minutes later I tried calling her back to see where she was and her cell phone went straight to voicemail. She did not show up to the party and never called me to tell me that she was not coming. My daughter and her friends were quite upset, as was I that the face painter did not show up. With today's technology and all of the GPS services available, it is unacceptable that a business who specializes in traveling to parties has an artist that is "lost". I did contact the owner about this situation and she promptly refunded my $75.00 deposit but this does not change the fact that the booked artist did not show up to our daughter's birthday.
