Prime (Alex) was the first company to respond, offered a very reasonable service call rate and had some good questions about what I might need to consider. I alerted Alex about a problem with my current dead lock being hard to operate and that the door might need adjustment. This did not deter him in any way. He brought the perfect Weiser lock with iPhone connectivity which was perfect considering my mobility problems. It took longer than expected to get everything to work perfectly but this did not affect his service call rate. The price of the lock unit was fair too - I had checked prices on Amazon and he was very competitive. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and Prime Locksmith.

I requested two new blade keys cut for my Range Rover from the original factory key, and I was…read morereferred to ARA Locksmith by a competing locksmith who was unable to do the work. Dominic of ARA kicked ass. On one of the keys, the machine made an error in the tracing and overcut one of the key blanks. Dominic was quickly able to replace the key with another blank *in the factory housing* and redo the cut, creating a working key and avoiding needing a costly replacement. He was quickly able to figure out where the machine went wrong and did a manual cut the second time around and got it spot-on. Pricing was VERY reasonable and the job was done while I watched. Definitely worth using Dominic at ARA for car key cutting, even for modern automotive keys.

We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline…read more We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these technician appointments, missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. There was also damage to our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline. We had zero issues with any of these new windows from the other company. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them Jan 20th and Jan 24th both with no response. I know this of course is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified and know that they will try and do nothing. They offered me the first time only 5% off any new windows for the headache. My question is, why would I ever want another subpar window poorly installed by them again. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. The employees told us, this is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company. There are so many other great companies out there that deserve your hard earned money. Ecoline is not one of them.
