Compassionate, thorough, and truly caring!…read more I brought my golden doodle, Kobe, in after he suddenly became lethargic and wouldn't jump up on the bed. The team here was so kind and patient from the moment we walked in. The vet took her time examining him carefully--checking his neck, spine, hips, and even his tail with such gentleness. She explained everything clearly, made sure Kobe was comfortable, and helped me understand what was going on. It turned out he likely pulled something in his back. They gave him pain meds, anti-inflammatories, and nerve medication, and she emphasized how important rest is even after he starts feeling better. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful for the care he received. After this experience, I've decided to switch to this clinic permanently. It's rare to find a veterinary team that combines skill, empathy, and genuine love for animals the way they do. Highly recommend!

I literally confirmed the appointment via email and I called the office 10 minutes ago to confirm my appointment and then 10 minutes later somebody else calls me to confirm the appointment. When I called to confirm the appointment that means the appointment is confirmed. I should not be getting a phone call 10 to 15 minutes later by somebody else. There has to be better communication between the staff or mark it the computer that I confirmed so that I don't get another phone call. It's ridiculous.

I saw an advertisement saying the Wellness Animal Hospital just opened on Moccasin Wallow Road in Parrish. So I figured why not give them a try. The lobby was bright & clean. Emma, vet tech, greeted me when I walked in. She knew my cat's name but I may have been the only customer with an appointment at the time, but I was still impressed. When I first walked into the exam room I was shocked at how sterile and unfriendly the room felt. It gave me the feeling of a non-compassionate atmosphere. The exam room had a single cabinet with built-in sink and the exam table folded down from the wall. There were 2 chairs. I love the floor to ceiling window. It made the room bright & allowed for my cat to search for birdies. Perhaps I felt taken aback because where I lived before we took our pets to a Fear Free practice. Perhaps it is because they are a new building. I hope as time goes on they will add some decorations on their walls and some Fear Free practices to help give a more friendly vibe. Will I go back? Absolutely! The veterinarian Dr. Nina Krajewski and her vet tech Emma were fantastic! They took the time to listen to the history of my cat and they took the time to give her a thorough exam. They showed compassion and care. While talking with Dr. Krajewski and Emma, my cat decided to show her distain of being at the vet by pooping in the crate. Emma gladly offered and then cleaned the crate. Thank you Dr. Krajewski and Emma. You are both wonderful and make a great team.

Very nice and honest vet. Made my dog feel comfortable. Pricing was fair for exam and lab work.read more

They've tapped my cat's chest to stabilize her until she could get to a higher level of care where they would have a kitty cat cardiologist. They fixed up Maverick after he impaled himself in the backyard, still don't know how. Cocoa is the crazy one, she came in with a slight mouth bleed from chewing a toy that wouldn't stop and they found that she had an autoimmune disease causing her to attack and kill every last platelet she had. We are frequent flyers there because Cocoa needs her platelets checked constantly and her medication dose adjusted and they treat her so well. That dog gets so many cuddles there she actually loves going to get her blood drawn. Its her favorite place! She even got a free toy at yesterday's blood draw!

My puppy had diarrhea overnight, i was going out of town that morning. I collected a stool sample prepared to drop off at this vet. At 8:00 i called to let them know what i planned and was told that instead of running the stool sample to see if she needed antibiotics and then see the puppy, they would not run the stool sample unless they examined the dog. This was a puppy who liked to eat things she found outside. i was going out of town for the day. i was unable to take time for a visit. As it turned out, puppy had no more diarrhea. In the "good old days ", i could drop off a stool specimen, they would check it and see if the animal needed antibiotics. They have lost my business, looking for a new vet!

My wife discovered a small lump on his right rear legend took him to Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital for a check. On Feb 7th, the Dr removed the benign lump and that part is well. She was charged $492.86 for this but I have no idea if that is normal or high. What someone "decided" to do was cut all of the cat's hair off down to 1/4" to do this procedure which for a cat amounts to being naked for the next 3 or 4 months. Since Feb turned out be cold as usual and we live in a under insulated mid 1986 mobile home, the floors are colder than the upper part , the cat developed a sickness with dry heaves less than 2 weeks after the surgery and was diagnosed with pneumonia on Feb 21st. Kris was taken to Dr Nina's office at 12:30 for diagnosis and was kept for x-rays. My wife as called at 4PM to pick him up at 5 PM which she did. At that point she was charged $836.86 for what that I have not gotten a responce from Dr Nina's office as of yet. My wife was told that this was our fault because the floors are cold. No mention of he no longer had hair to insulate him or that my wife was not offered or advised to get a cat sweater. So it's $836.86 for I am presuming is an x-ray and a shot or two of pneumonia medicine. Does that seem excessive for a 4 hour visit and this treatment or is it just me being ignorant of reality? 2nd review from Nextdoor Dea When my dog passed away at that office I STOPPED GOING THERE! The dog was only 7 yrs old and they failed to do a complete blood panel before surgery. I failed my dog as an owner for not knowing more about the protocol. I am sure he had an underlying issue WE were unaware of....yeah, I have nothing good to say about the place. As for WHAT they charge always have them give you an estimate before accepting any work. VET NEXTDOOR does a great job and excellent work - from X-rays to surgery.

I immediately emailed asking for information since I wasn't too sure how this would work. Rhys, emailed me back about an hour LATER on a weekend with soo much useful information about what possibly might've been going on with my pup, my options, places with addresses, phone numbers to call, youtube videos with more useful information. I truly felt like " Wow they truly care and actually spend the time and effort to help their customers! And I wasn't even one yet! " They told me normally they don't travel to my area which is 34212, but if needed to for extra charge they would, they did give me information of other places by my area that might. I didn't need to use them, or any other place, because my pup ended up passing away. I truly appreciate the time and effort Rhys put in trying to help me and my baby. I hope no one has to go through something that will require a vet go to your home, for an emergency, but if so then you should definitely reach out to vets to you!
