This park extends all the way to Chacarita Cemetery, with areas with benches and tables, a carousel, a playground, chess boards, even a small fountain (I don't think it's working, though), and tons of space to play or sit down on the green grass. If there's too many people around for your taste, you can always walk to the next block over and find a quiet spot there.
On weekends and national holidays there's a fair that's kinda like an antique shop, a craft fair, a market and a book fair all in one. There are some interesting finds in there, so it's a good way to spend a lazy Sunday outside, browsing stall by stall in search of a good deal.
It's surrounded by tons of bus stops, the Dorrego subway station, and a couple of blocks away you've got the Chacarita station of the San Martín Railway as well. read more
