Didn't want my little girl catching anything from me. Called and made an appointment the same day. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. She had a friendly smile and answered all my questions about my insurance company. The office was bright and new, looked like it was just renovated. After 10 minutes of waiting my name was called by a tall, Eastern European man with a slight accent. As I entered the the exam room Dr.P introduced himself and asked me what was the purpose of my visit. His approach was warm and caring, didn't seemed rushed. (Unlike my other experiences in other medical offices I am used to going to) Dr.P toke some tests and assured me I had just got a common cold and should feel better soon as long as I take the meds he prescribed me. Overall, my experience with the staff and the Dr. P was amazing. I highly recommend them! I know finding a good knowledgeable Doctor in Borough Park is hard to come by.

After a quick Google search, I stumbled upon city care medical and gave them a ring. Person who answered the phone was very friendly and told me that they were open until 8 PM and that I could walk in anytime before that. I got to the office around 6:30PM and after waiting only a few minutes was seen by the doctor. Dr. P introduced himself and immediately I felt very comfortable with him. He was friendly, warm, and had an excellent bedside manner. I was able to explain my symptoms to him and never felt rushed. After our chat, I believe that he gave me the right diagnosis and was able to send a few prescriptions over to my pharmacy as well as give me a few alternative recommendations, which I appreciated a lot. It is now about a week after my visit and I'm feeling much better already. I am very glad that I found Dr. P and his staff. I will be coming to city care medical in the future and have already recommended this office to many of my friends who have an equally great experience here. Thank you guys!

I called the office at Coney Island and Newkirk, and they gave me an early appointment. When I arrived, they couldn't have been more gracious. The NP in charge examined me and determined that what I had was a bad cold. He prescribed several medicines. Total time there was about 30 minutes. I'm now on Day 5 of the meds and feel a good bit better. I liked this place.

The office is in a brownstone it looks like an the waiting area was nice. The Receptionist had me fill out some forms then I was on my way with Dr. Grishina. She was very nice and asked me the general medical questions & history. Then she gave me an overall checkup. She drew blood, which I hate doing but she was gentle and I didn't feel a thing. After that she told me when I get my results back she will give me a call. Which she did not too long ago. It's hard to find a doctor these days you can feel comfortable with and who aren't pushy or rude. I really like her and I feel good knowing I have a place to go to if I have an issue.

If you happen to be someone that used Metroplus or medicaid/medicare type insurance, I think you will find this much different than some other offices Ive been, for example Lafayette Medical Center in Bedstuy in 400 blk of Lafayette, that place is a horror show. Anyway, I was very pleased. As for the office not speaking english, thats completely untrue. Im American and dont speak russian and everyone spoke english, the receptionist, the nurse, dr etc. I did have to wait awhile but they offer walk in appt only I believe. You just have to live with that or get there when they open...not sure I have only been 2X. The Dr. herself (Kalika, Sima) did a good job diagnosing my problem and it wasnt easy. She was quick to administer the correct protocol and also do the correct lab work. Btw the way to the review again...lab work is not allowed to be given over the phone..thats HIPAA not the dr. fyi. Google it, HIPAA privacy is a nightmare. Overall the RN was great and I was pleased with the Dr. Like I said its a clean office and organized...everything exceeded expectations AND they take medicaid type insurance.

I'm in line with both those thoughts. He effectively uses Medical Marijuanna and CDB to good results. His approach is towards the entire patient, and not piecemeal. If you want miracle answers and simple cures, don't go to Dr Moskowitz. He doesn't just write you a prescription and send you on your way. But if you are serious about your health, and want to participate in your cures, then Dr Moskowitz is the doctor for you! He is very serious about the Manta "Do No Harm" first and foremost. All doctors understand the basic medical principles that Dr Moskowitz uses, and agree with the potential positive outcomes. But they are just too lazy and not compensated to work with patients with there diets, week after week, to help keep patients on a healthy track, both mentally and physically. For most MDs, it is just too much work. But in the end, this is the best way to practice healthcare, and to extend your life in a pain free and positive way.

At the time, though, I was suffering from depression and Dr. Moskowitz suspected it when he was taking to me and my grandma. He pulled me to the side and asked me more questions, but they were very demeaning. In the end, he simply told me and my grandma that I probably was suffering from depression, but that it was a phase and that I had to just grow up and be a man. (That happened to me in February) She didn't take my complaints seriously because my overall health is great and I all my blood tests always run normal. However, I wanted prescription to see a specialist and she asked where I'm planning to go and when I mentioned doctor's name she was refusing to give me prescription because she doesn't like him personally(?????). She suggested other doctor but I chose a doctor I wanted to visit and she finally gave me prescription. I had to have a surgery the next day and if I would listen to her I would end up in the emergency room. So bottom line : I won't come back to this office, never ever in my life.
