I beg anyone who is considering having Parmele represent them to pursue other options. Parmele is so incompetent it makes you think they are intentionally trying to lose your case. I first went through parmele a couple of years ago. i thought things were good at first. when it came time for my hearing my lawyer was so bafflingly unprepared that he was stumbling over his words. i myself, with zero legal training or education could have done a better job. the worst was when we went to the appeals council. i told my lawyer multiple times that we should bring up two clear factual and legal errors. i was told they would. come to find out that Parmele's appeal was based on a weighing of evidence dispute. that was probably THE WORST argument they could have used especially considering the amendment that was made in 2017 that says the ALJ's don't have to give 'any evidentiary weight' to medical and non-medical sources. the appeals council typically only accepts appeals based on legal errors. how a judge weighs evidence is not a legal error. even i know this. now Parmele has dropped me when they are the one that mishandled my case, and im the one who has to pick up the pieces and go to federal court on my own and learn social security law. i don't know if Parmele even reads these reviews but if they do, i want Parmele to pass the message along to Aaron Faurschou: I want to know who paid for you to pass the bar exam, because i refuse to believe you passed it with the level of idiocy you demonstrated during your time representing me. to everyone else once again, do not go through Parmele, and if you do, run the other way if they assign Aaron to your case read more

It really doesn't seem like they have interest in calling potential clients back. After starting the beginning stages they told me they'd call me back and never did. Correct me if I'm wrong but whose side are they on? Us or them? That'a how I felt dealing with them. Highly advise you find another group read more

I hired them to represent my disability case in April of this year. I was told by Parmele that I could earn no more than $1550 gross per month in order to be eligible. I was working 22 hours per week and my gross income was under the maximum amount of $1550 per month. Parmele filed my disability claim on April 18th, 2024 and after waiting for three months, I was notified by Social Security that my application had been denied. I called Parmele and told them that it had been denied and was told that they'd let someone on their team know and that as soon as I received my denial letter in the mail to call them back, as it had pertinent information on it that they needed to file the appeal. Well, Parmele called me a couple of days later and said that I had gone over the maximum amount I could earn monthly and that is why my claim had been denied. I told them that was not true and how many hours I had been working and that it fell under the $1,550 per month. Parmele then said that in the state of Kansas, you are only allowed to work 20 hours per week when filing a disability claim, even if more hours still fall under the maximum amount. No one ever told me this at any point from the time I contacted Parmele in April. In fact, I never had one phone call or any kind of communication from Parmele from the time they filed my claim in April until I called them after the denial. All I was ever told was that I had to keep my gross income under $1550 per month. I even have the paperwork that I signed and it says nothing about 20 hours per week; only that I cannot go over $1550 per month, gross. I then asked what I was supposed to do and was told I would have to start over, only working 20 hours per week and provide paystubs to Social Security and that basically the last three months had been a waste of time. Think twice before hiring them. Horrible communication and apparently they don't know all the legalities of disability claims. read more

although everyone was nice, I was lied to and in 2 and a half years, they did not update my file at the social security office. don't trust them unless you have time to call them every day. read more
