I visited this establishment on a Friday night as part of a bachelor party with a group of 5 that included both strip club veterans and first timers. We initially had planned on stopping in, getting a quick dance or two for the man of the hour, and then leaving to go to a bar but we all ended up having such a great time we stayed until closing. The bouncer at the front door was great. He was friendly and informative while maintaining a good command presence with anyone coming in with an attitude. We also talked briefly with the manager/DJ who was a down to earth guy and kept a watchful eye on things. There was a poster listing prices next to the bouncer so there were no surprises. Everything was very fairly priced (there was a $10 cover) and at no time were we forced to buy anything we weren't interested in. This was a huge factor in our decision to spend the whole night (and lots more money} there. And yes there is an ATM there for dummies like me who forget to bring cash and no it did not pop up as a gentleman's club on our card statements which I can imagine being a plus for many folks. There was a pool table/TV area, a bar, the stage + runway, and a private dace area. The lighting and music selection were great and the place had a fun, relaxed atmosphere. There were groups of guys, groups of gals, couples, and single patrons and the dancers did a great job of giving everyone equal attention. This is not a nude club due to local regulations but the dancers were for the most part fantastic and the dancer/patron ratio was perfect. They had a diverse cast of dancers and there was seriously something there for everyone. When not on stage, the dancers mingled amongst the patrons and were mostly super friendly and fun to talk to. None of them were pushy about getting a lap dance or private dance. The private dances were fantastic though obviously dancers had different skill levels and preferences so don't expect the same experience with every gal. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, not so family friendly night supporting local single moms and college students. read more

My first trip to Parkway Tropics was also my first trip to a titty bar. I went with some co-workers (all male, one of which was actually my uncle) after work one evening. We walked into this grimy, dirty, hole-in-the-wall, westside place of pure debauchery and found a table for four. The first stripper I saw, was my neighbor. I once knew that she worked there, but had completely forgotten. Topless, she walked up to me, like she would have out on the sidewalk of our street to say hello. I was used to seeing her taking out her trash each Wednesday, and here she was with her breasts (which looked really great for her age) in my face. She said "Wow, you look great!" I responded with, "Uh, so do you..." Blushing, I sat down. We ordered some Budweisers, which I am pretty sure was the best quality beer they had there, and got comfortable. The boys were really getting a kick out of having me there and slapped down a stack of ones in front of me. I must have gotten fifteen lap dances that night...and there were only four girls working. My neighbor gave me a few, one of which she put a dollar bill in my mouth and took it out with her boobs, then complimented me on my soft face and told me it was nice to do that to someone without a five o'clock shadow. The restroom situation was odd for me. It's a gentleman's club so there wasn't really a public ladies room. I had to go into the bathroom where the dancers were getting primped and ready, and spritzing that usual "stripper scent" all over themselves. My neighbor cornered me in the bathroom and told me that I should work there. I told her that I had no rhythm and couldn't dance, so she invited me to her house for lessons. If I could rate this a zero I would. Honestly my girl and I went into there this past weekend Saturday to be exact. I've been a dancer in Hawaii for the past 4 years. The scene is way different. But as we where getting ready to pay the cover the guy says "and just so you ladies know your not allowed to talk to the male customers and they are not allowed to talk to you." How fucking crazy is that?? It's a bar how are you going to expect paying patrons to not talk to one another. Most discriminatory place I've ever been to. First of all, they charge you different prices based on how old you are. The guy said they have been doing that a long time but I never got charged the first 2 times I entered. The dancers are a hit or miss. Mine started asking me about my political views then left immediately when I found out. She also insulted me during my private dance and made sexist comments. Not very clean. First time here in GR and to this place. Its small, but have a nice feel. 18+ entetainment but you have to buy at least one drink. The girls are pretty. We went on a Saturday night memorial weekend and there were not alot of people, which is nice because there are alot of seats available. The performance are mesmorizing... gave it 5 stars because the services were great and friendly. There's also pool tables. Been going there since I was 18 I'm 55 . Old school feel like a neighborhood pub with beautiful girls with girl next door attitudes . This place has a romantic history of being a Jazz club and had go go dancing cage girls way back . Lol very laid back and only 10$ for those of you that get VIP dances . I myself like to sit in the back by the pool tables and tip heavy and buy drinks . The conversation with the bartenders and the steam of girls walking up to me , drinking a few shots with them is a social experience I enjoy . You still should tip if you can . Not a sleazy club but not Las Vegas either . I feel at home there and the customers always seem happy and social as well. I loved the place, and would definitely go back. First of all, the lighting is incredibly poor, as a previous reviewer had mentioned. You can't really see the girls dancing very well when they're on the main stage, though there's also a catwalk that they'll go around, which leads up to the bar seating, and there's normal bar lighting for that part. I don't really go to watch them dance on the stage, though. The girls are all awesome, though. They are friendly, cute, and give awesome private dances. And private dances are only $10, which is the greatest deal I've ever seen. I went on a Sunday night, and then on a Monday at 2pm (it felt really weird going during daytime, but no regrets), which makes me wonder what kind of talent shows up on Saturdays. I got a dance with five of the girls, and I enjoyed each one. I think you're required to get at least one drink. Domestic beers are $4 if I recall correctly, which isn't that bad. There are also pool tables and some TVs near the bar. Just so you know, the dancers are required by law to keep a top on. I give this place 5 stars because it is awesome for what it is. And that $10 deal is too good. It's of course not the high quality you'll find in Las Vegas or Montreal. I think the private dances are higher quality than the ones in West Virginia, though over there, they're allowed to take everything off. In conclusion, if you know what to expect, then you'll have a good time. Don't go just to watch the stage dances. read more

horrible place, lighting sucks, so dark you can barely see the girls, they go overkill on the black lights as well. most of the girls are decent looking and maybe half have actual talent for dancing, however they spend more time sitting at tables talking with the old men than they do dancing, I spent 30 min sitting at a table without one girl offering a dance and with seven girls and only 4 customers including myself, i would say that is pretty pathetic.Only thing this place has going for it was the bartender, very attentive and sweet disposition...But Don't waste your time!! read more
