The Blueberry Mule was a perfect cocktail to start off with. Then I had their Brisket with White Mac/Cheddar cheese. The entree had some nice "heat" and it came with an excellent Wedge Salad as a starter. Their other offerings looked great - from traditional "pubfare" to some relatively higher-end (but not too fancy) items - so I am looking forward to returning like a good Chicago voter - early & often!!!

Basically a beautiful waterfront museum with fantastic, highly interesting exhibits that appeal to all ages. Admission is completely free, making it incredibly budget-friendly for our family of five. The volunteers and staff are absolutely wonderful--so friendly and helpful! We wanted to support them by making a donation at the gift shop. Even though I didn't have cash on me, they easily and quickly accepted a donation via Apple Pay. The outdoor area around the water has great statues to look at, and it is perfectly located near the local parks and beaches. I highly recommend stopping here if you are celebrating a Great Lakes graduation or just spending a day in Kenosha! My daughter graduated from Great Lakes and we wanted to go on a little adventure as a family during one of her liberty days. I recommend coming early and checking out local events in the nearby parks. We went on a Saturday and there was a cute Italian festival and a farmers market(Kenosha harbor market and celebration place). Afterwards we walked around the water side and enjoyed surrounding statues then headed into this cute museum. If you're going head over early enjoy the market and the museum then grab a sandwich at the local deli, snack at the piggly or a dog from red hot and head over to the park or the beach near by, then finish the day at the sweet corner! If you can make it to the cheese castle do but they close at 7 so we didn't make it! I'll make reviews for the above listed spots as well!

I walked in and recognized John( from Gurnee Lego store). Talk about a welcome surprise, this man knows Lego's inside and out. He has helped my grandson for many years locate a special product and talk with him, John has the patience of a Saint. I sold Zachary collection from his birthday presents, Christmas presents and many others that he just had to have. Tyler helped me go through the bins and asked me questions all along the way. Their store has many Lego's that are still in boxes and some already built. Very reasonable in prices and selection. If you are looking for Lego's or any Mini figures this is your First and Only Stop. Plus they have a separate room for Birthday Parties. Every Lego Mom and Dad should check them out before Santa comes. The atmosphere is very friendly and helpful. I will be going back.

The food was put out a little slowly but there was plenty and it was all cooked well. We had salad with 3 dressings, mostaccioli, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn, chicken, and Italian beef. We had our wedding reception at Circa and could not have been happier with how it turned out!…read moreHanni/Kelsey were both great. We worked with Hanni from about November through July. Then we worked with Kelsey the rest of the time and on the day of our wedding Sept 30th. Hanni was extremely responsive, professional, and knowledgeable about everything with planning our reception at Circa. Kelsey was super helpful - we live in Colorado and when we arrived for the wedding the week beforehand she let us come to Circa at our convenience to drop off decor (2 different times). She made herself available at all hours of the day to me and provided me her cell number in case of emergencies the week of the wedding/leading up to it. Kelsey and the Circa team set everything up for us and the place looked AMAZING - everything was beautiful! They took our decor and put it all together in a way that was perfect. They followed our timeline perfectly all night and worked with our DJ/photographer to make sure each part of the night went smoothly. Kelsey came up to us throughout the night to see if we needed anything (if we did, she was quick to execute). At the end of the night Kelsey and the team put all our decor back in boxes and packed it up for us, which was EXTREMELY helpful!! They really did not miss the mark anywhere - everything was so so perfect thanks to them! I couldn't say enough good things about Circa, Kelsey, and Hanni. The package deal they offer for weddings is amazing as well. I recommend Circa to anyone getting married - you won't regret it! They make the process so easy and the wedding so beautiful/elegant. ***Side note: we were worried about it being a tight fit since we had ~160 guests but so many people told us this actually was a great part of the reception - being in a smaller space forced everyone to be together and mingle... I think it really made the night that much better!

I've hosted a Christmas party here and also attended three events hosted by others. The upstairs area works great for a lounge/retreat from the main event, as well as serves as a great place to set up a photo booth. The staff is also incredibly helpful. The event I planned for work had an extremely tight budget, but everyone at Circa worked with us to make sure those attending would feel special and impressed. They were also polite, courteous, and informative through several rounds of questions and changes in plans on our end. I am so happy to have an event space like this in Kenosha, particularly one with such fine catering.

The Millburn Barn is a great location for a wedding all under one roof. However, to experience…read moreprofessionalism, respect, and integrity, I would look elsewhere. I have organized eighteen large-scale events at other venues and have never had to deal with the lack of hospitality by an owner like I did at this place. While our families put together a beautiful and memorable event, it was not without a ridiculous amount of stress from the unaccommodating owners. The zero-tolerance policy of outside alcohol was handwritten like a note on the contract after it was already signed. The conversation about outside alcohol was casual and a story about a previous wedding where a keg was brought into the Groom's suite. Had we been told that their liquor license was in jeopardy instead of being disrespectfully yelled at, we could have resolved the issue professionally. The fact that the owners rummaged through personal items, confiscated gifts without our knowledge, constantly monitored every move via the surveillance cameras (there is no sign anywhere that you are being watched/recorded), spoke to us in a very rude manner, basically called us liars several times, and much more, made me regret the decision to have the wedding at the barn. What owner would say to the bride, "I bet you can't wait till this is over"? Or roll his eyes and say, "oh, god" at the decor we were bringing in? I am disgusted that the surveillance camera in the Groom's suite watched their every move. I wonder if the barn follows the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code. I question the adequate exit access and compliant fire alarm system. I also question their compliance with the ADA Standards for Accessible Design (no designated accessible parking spaces). These are all serious matters that deserve attention. If you prioritize hospitality and integrity in your event planning, look for an alternative venue.

I specifically chose this property because of its proximity to the starting line of a race I was traveling for. With such short notice, there were no comparable options left nearby, and I ultimately had to cancel the trip altogether. While my money was refunded, there was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to offer any accommodation or alternative solution. Canceling a confirmed reservation at the last minute can seriously disrupt travel plans, and that's exactly what happened here. Very disappointing experience.

There were items left from previous guess under the bed and the counters, or desk weren't wiped down, the little mini lotions in the bathroom were open and had dried suds like it was left from the last guess. Our second stay we checked in at night so didn't really see much until the next morning, the room again was not clean properly. There was also a major ant issue. We were on the 4th floor and the ant were everywhere. Crawling on our beds, floor, desk, bathroom, closet EVERYWHERE. We spoke with the front desk to change our room and they said they didn't have any rooms available but would come and clean the room and replace our sheets. The young girl from the desk came and vacuumed and sprayed the front of the floor. She said the manager would be her in the morning and would refund, discount, or provide a voucher for our stay. We couldn't leave hotel it would've been even more inconvenient especially with children. The next morning comes, manager isn't here and were told because we booked through a 3rd party app there is nothing they can do and offered us a snack from the snack shop or free breakfast item?! Really?! I really didn't want to leave this review I'd hope this would have been resolved properly. We learned that they knew about the ant issue but still decided to rent out the room. For the price you pay to stay here the cleaning is unacceptable and the skills to resolve any concerns are lacking.
