Im glad that negative reviews are starting to show up. This apartment complex is BY FAR the worst place I ever lived there. My lease is up in a few months (YAY!!!) and Ill definitely will not be renewing my lease. The staff (especially Kelli who is the most incompetent manager I have ever dealt) You can see she hates people and it reflects very poorly at her job.
A few things to note, we were living in a different state before signing our lease. My girlfriend found this apartment complex online, we look at the pictures and it was a brand new construction and it looked promising. Well the third day we moved in we both regretted it.
Dealing with the staff was a horrible experience. In the process of signing the lease I was on top of things, I provided them with ALL of the information they needed via email, the insurance information, the deposit, etc.. and everything was going smoothly at that point. Until we show up and wanted to get our keys, well it seems that was a total waist of time, because right before the movers got to our unit we had to essentially re-apply and provide them with ALL the information and on top of that I had to run to the vet and get all of the information for our pets because "they forgot" to ask all of this information.. As if I am not busy enough dealing with movers and now I have to deal with their b.s and the attitude of Kelli was just enough to tell her off and cancel my lease. But it was too late since the movers were already here.
Personally I have not heard about the stealing cars, or prostitution, however looking at some people in my area I wouldn't be surprise. When you pay almost for a $1400 *YES* I pay $1390/ month for a two bed room. If you get the smaller unit you dont even have place to put a kitchen table, they expect you to eat at the counter looking at your fridge, yeah.. GREAT layout... also my building faces another building from the second floor and my neighbor can see directly into my unit, so every day after work the first thing I have to do if I want any privacy is to close all of my blinds, so I can not even enjoy the sunlight. Then there is the maintenance of the area. Be careful when you go get your mail cause you got a 50/50 chance of stepping dog pooh. They have a few stations for doggy bags however most of the time they are empty or people are just too lazy to pick up after their dogs. The other thing to consider is that NONE of the windows have screens, thats right... if you want a screen door or even open up your window during the summer but dont want to have bugs you need to run to home depot and get yourself your own screen doors and window screens...just horrible.
The appliances looks nice on the pictures but they aren't even good. In my washer I can not even wash my bed, I have to go to a laundry mat since if I try to wash more then 3 blankets I can see residual of soaps on them, they are the cheapest washer/dryer machine on the market.
I will agree as well this feels like a VERY expensive dorm room, just last night I could hear the music of my neighbor until 1 am.... whats the use of complaining for the fourth time??? I just gave up. at this point we are just counting the days to get out of here.
I have yet met a neighbor who has renewed their lease, it seems the turnaround to this apartment complex is VERY high...and they only been open for less then two years.
Another to take note, since there is no park for children they are stuck playing in the parking lot. And yes there is plenty of children without any adult supervision.
Bottom line..somewhat great area (if you like to take toll roads to either go to Raleigh or Durham) however I would not recommend this place at all. For the price you can lease a much larger house or better yet buy one. read more
