As the new kid the other students were welcoming. She had no problem making friends. She's had no issues being bullied. Their staff takes all issues serious. They don't let situations build up before intervening. I've never felt I was being bothersome when requesting things or asking questions. My child feels emotionally supported when having a down day. She's not trying to stay home anymore. She's trying new sports to be part of the team. She's the courageous confident kid she was before the pandemic. He repeatedly bullied me and several other kids, and was able to get away with all of it. Even when several other children came forward to say that they felt uncomfortable with this other kid in the classroom, again, it was not taken seriously. I was able to get away with more things going to the school than I ever have in my life. They had a little to no supervision and I was uncomfortable with the staff there.

I see all the fun crafts that the students create that help them learn their letters, numbers, shapes, seasons, phonics etc. I am so pleased with how my son has learned so many different things, both academically and socially. I have even had personal conversations with the teachers about being a new mom and have received heartfelt, godly and wise ideas about raising children. CCS has been a safe, godly haven for me to place my only son while I go to work all day. In addition, I hosted international students and have seen how the teachers work very hard to personally help the students who struggle in their school work. They would contact me and talk to me about my student and when I requested that they address certain issues my student had, they would do it in an encouraging way. I see how the high school teachers go out of their way to make their classes interesting and relevant, yet academically challe.
