Enter Trinity, the principal was and is warm and welcoming in every interaction. The virtual learning was far more engaging and enriching the we could have ever imagined. Our daughter is glued to the class even via zoom which still astonishes me 3 months in. The school was able to safely, efficiently, and calmly (yes legally) incorporate in person learning sessions in small groups. They are on point and have quickly and efficiently risen to the occasion of educating during the pandemic. And to my original point, they are the most affordable private school in town and we wouldn't dream of taking our daughter anywhere else.

Whenever I come to this playground it brings me back to my innocent youth; tetherball in first recess, red rover and kickball in afternoon intermission (what it was called before recess). A lot of the learning is done outside the classroom and on the playground. This playground is, as Donald Tremp says, "huge". Lots of area to learn. I don't anymore, but I miss the days where I used to be a recess safety officer (duty). I was able to tell all the children to be safe and make them listen to my stories of my youth. Now it was brought to my attention that a "Mr. Jason" who is employed at Lincoln has in some form been encouraging and/or ignoring the issues. I would not send your children to this school until they get better staffing (if you have the option). After having this issue I also spoke with 2 other parents that have recently pulled their children out of Lincoln for similar problems! Never is it acceptable as an adult; especially working at a school (who should be setting a proper example) to tell a 6 year old that they deserved to be punched in the face by another student. They refuse to do anything about the bullying, and employee bullies at that. Not to mention they are obviously not adequately watching our children.

The method and consistency make it work. Toai the head instructor is truly dedicated and seems to care about every child. He is very accessible and kind. My daughter has gone up 3 reading levels in 5 months! Her teacher called me today to ask what we have been doing at home because she has improved so much in reading. My daughter's self esteem has gone up tremendously. I hear her reading at night and I cry it makes me so proud! I was worried about my girl, but Kumon has been the answer to help her catch up. If your child is struggling, try the Kumon on 82nd. It might be one of the best decisions you ever make for your child.

They do not care about the students well fair, or mental health. They hire inappropriate substitute teachers and everyday teachers. When I say inappropriate I mean lowkey either pedophilia or the teacher doesnt do there job. When My peers or myself would report the teacher or sub it would be taken with a grain of salt and would be ignored. There was a substantial teacher that I had twice, and each time would go up to the boys in my class and start massaging there shoulders and start saying "how's your work going baby?" And would continue to say thing about how they wanted to convince some students in my class into there home. And this substitute is still working there. Another example of a teacher being out of line was a math teacher named br. Burton, who works at skyrdige middle school. He would sit there for the entire class period, and tell everyone about his life. He never taught us the curriculum and would get mad when we would have a class adverage of an F. Again, my peers and me have reported the teachers that have been out of line and it has been ignored. At one point, one of my friends was being bullied and they reported it over and over and it was ignore and that friend almost committed suicide because they where being ignored. It took the person almost committing suicide for the school to do anything about the bullying.

They seem unnecessarily rigid in both cases. Yes, my child had horrible attendance issues but I think more could have been done to help improve that had they been willing to be more flexible on some things. I was particularly distraught when my child ended up being short .25 credits to graduate and due to two medical emergencies over the summer was unable to finish summer school...I was basically told they would likely be unwilling to work with us for her to finish. I thankfully was able to find an option after extensive work with the school district, but it did not leave me with a feeling that the administration truly cared about the students themselves. Disappointing. Again, teachers are amazing so if attendance or accommodations are not an issue I would highly recommend this school.
