the doctor care is good but the billing is horrendous. we have made a dozen calls on a bill that should be fully covered. its an absolute nightmare. wont use this facility ever again. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY OR ENERGY ON THIS PLACE. IF I COULD LEAVE A ONE STAR REVIEW I WOULD. This hospital is by far THE WORST . So unprofessional. Rude. Everything under the sun. I've had on multiple occasions when I've came in them misdiagnosing me. They make me seem stupid. I've told them what's going on. Usually it's something so serious that I have to come. I hate drs. & hospitals. But every single time they tell me that I'm dramatic and that it's nothing. Last time I came they took my info and paperwork. Then trashed it. Same with my test stuff. Threw it in the garbage. The nurse told me about it. The nurse guy was nice. I am currently in here with my wife. She's having issues. But I asked to come back with her as I always do and have always done and they never have any problems with that. Even in the small rooms. The nurse we had today wouldn't let me come back with her. I live with my wife and everything and they wouldn't let me come back with her. They said after she gets sit down and everything they would come get me. They got smart with her. They put an IV in and everything without me being there. She's scared. They are just not friendly to a lot of people. If you want rude and unprofessional people doing anything to you, this is the place. There are a few doctors here too that are rude and they love to misdiagnose. They just aren't the place to be vulnerable at. If you are planning to come here, don't. Go to Chattanooga Erlanger hospital on shallowford rd. They do so much better and THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL-BEING. here they don't. You could be dying and they belittle you. Saying it's nothing. I highly don't recommend this place. I hope you read this review before coming because it's not worth your time. Nor your money. Not worth anything. They also don't know how to find veins. Every time I have come and they needed blood, I get stuck over 14 times. And end up with nothing but bruises all over me. They go through every nurse and doctor to get my veins and none of them have reached my veins. So they will keep trying after I tell them about my issues. Parkridge West Hospital - don't waste time here. - Hospitals Near Me - Jasper, Tennessee

My adult child was brought by ambulance to this hospital. No one was allowed back to see them. They had a bad reaction to a prescribed drug. They were catatonic. Unable to speak or hear. Acting strange. Diagnosed with a mental issue instead of a medical problem. They do remember being put on a mattress on the floor. And given 3 injections in their behind. Tests for drugs and alcohol were negative. They were transported an hour and a half away from home to a Parkridge Mental Hospital. Against our wishes. There was another hospital a few miles away. Or Erlanger is much closer. We were not allowed to send them to either one of those hospitals. The medical issues were never addressed. They were not able to eat food or drink water for 2 days. The medicine cleared in 3 days. Our child finally woke up. But they could have died at the mental hospital. Dehydrated. They were not allowed to have any water in their room. Had to walk to the day room to drink water from a tiny cup. Lost all their human rights. Parkridge took custody of them. A few months prior another family went here with chest pains. Nothing was found. Arteries were not checked. He ended up having a heart attack a short time later. But we took him to Erlanger the next time. Erlanger saved his life. Now for a scandalous update. Like something from a horror film. Our family received a letter from a lawyer after our family member was already home. The letter informed us that Parkridge Mental Hospital intended on keeping our family member for 23 days! The letter was dated the same day they were admitted!!! Clearly an attempt to get more insurance money. Horrible. Just horrible!!! Had my family member not woken up from the prescription drug reaction, they could have gotten locked up there for 23 days. And they have no way to give an IV for fluids. They could have ended up back at the hospital. And then returned to the Mental Hospital to finish the 23 days. Luckily our family became a thorn in their side, and we got our family member returned to us. Our family member did say the nurses were kind to them at the Parkridge West Emergency room. read more

Horrible hospital with one goal, send to parent company in Chattanooga, even if it means intentionally misdiagnosing. That's what this hospital does. They cant even treat a so called UTI, so they say. I know this to be a fact because that's what they did with my mom. I called and ask why they don't give options, they said they do...BS they don't. If you have an issue, no matter how small it is, bypass this hole in the wall and go on to Chattanooga to Erlanger and stay away from Parkridge anywhere and everywhere. They are part of the HCA. If you truly love your loved ones, stay clear of this hospital. read more
