This is another of those payment scheme apps that towns are turning to instead of having, well, what are those called...functional parking meters. It's not hard to install the app, but there's several flaws in the process, so when you are in a hurry setting everything up because you didn't know the town uses it, you have issues. Make sure that you're license plate is entered correctly, because after you start a parking session, you can't change it nor can support. The app also didn't like my one credit card for some unknown reason. Let's talk about support. Website? Useless. Chat form? Useless. Helpdesk ticket? Useless. Phone call? Super useless. There is actually no one here to help. Whoever owns this company and towns using it are the only ones benefiting from this app, not the customers. This is the prime example of an app that will disappear the minute someone designs another with better integration. read more

Zero STARS!!! Park mobile has been charging me $53/mo for 6 months for old rental cars that I parked at shopping malls years ago. They are arrogant and ridiculous. I will sue them for this action because they are trapping people and taking money that they have not earned. They claim I subscribed to this service, which is also untrue, I only signed up to be able to park the car. To be honest, I have a GREAT case for a lawsuit on how they did this and I bet its happening to hundreds of other people. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I used this app once, to pay for parking, in long beach, CA. It saved my credit card info and vehicle information. Fast forward, I'm in Tampa, FL, in a rental car & paid for 8hours, $25. It automatically defaulted to my license plate number in California, not prompting me to enter the car information. I tried to correct the license plate number, but it's not possible to do. Customer service can't do it either. I recommend using the kiosks, to pay for your parking or the city parking app. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE -they don't care. Sucker born everyday. For me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. They seriously thought I would start another session and pay them again?!? read more

I parked on a side street in Charlotte, NC in July. I scanned the QR code to pay for my parking and I just learned that I am being charged for a subscription every month! How can paying for parking be a subscription? It's a scam! I called the company and they were not able to refund my money because they said they were getting an error code when they put in my credit card number. Interesting that they were able to charge my card without an error code. Thankfully I was able to dispute the charge with my bank. Be careful where you park!! Park Mobile USA is a scam! read more

Parkmobile - Tried to scam us out of $75. - Atlanta, Georgia

ParkMobile. Awful company. Financial predators. Cowards. And overall miserable human beings. Here's my story. I parked daily at UCLA. Parking Structure 2. I paid $16/day. I sometimes used the freestanding meter in the structure but then started using the ParkMobile app for added convenience. ParkMobile "reps" started calling me two and three times a day. "Please upgrade to our ParkMobile Business Pro Account. It's $8.99/month which gives you $1 off per parking fee, and will save you $21/month since you park everyday." I finally relented. Signed up. What they don't tell you, is if you have more than one car on your account, they charge you $8.99 per car, not per single account. I have a main car but I also rent cars too and add the license plate to the account because that's what the parking patrol people use to see if you paid to park there. So they charged me $17.98/month. I eventually changed jobs, left the area and no longer need daily parking structure parking. So I called ParkMobile to cancel, just like they called me and signed me up, and...silence. Can't get anyone on the phone. So, had to go the chatbot route. Got a message saying, it's a 5-hour wait just to chat. Finally, sent a service request to cancel my paid subscription account. Got a clown named Diego K who emailed me a response... "Unfortunately, we cannot downgrade your [paid] membership to a [unpaid] basic membership. Additionally, we cannot offer you a refund for your membership fees..." My response... "What do you mean you can't cancel my membership? You're the company. Of course you can." Just like they signed me up for the membership, they should be able to cancel the membership. At any rate. Called my cc company. Filed a dispute. And banned any further charges from PMUSA. ParkMobile is a piece of shit company and the worst company in the United States of America. read more

Parked in a lot in the early evening. Turns out there was no parking charge at that hour BUT parkmobile felt it hjad the right to charge me a fee for telling me that. Tried to discuss with its customer service, bith AI and human, to no avail. I guess they figure no one will argue about such a small fee, but the law of large numbers says that thousands of small fees add up to bottom line profit. Poor policy. Poor service. read more

Parked in a space for jury duty and paid it up until the end of the day. We were let go for lunch and I parked in a new space. When I attempted to pay for time in another space, it told me to end my current session. I went to my current session, but there is no option to end it. I spoke with support and they said there wasn't anything they could do and their only solution was for me to pay at the meter itself or park in a different zone. Due to being summoned and the requirements of jury duty- leaving the courthouse and being late in order to either get 6 hours of physical change for the meter or park 15 minutes away wasn't possible. I didn't ask for a refund for the unused time in my space, I just wanted to pay for parking at another space so I didn't get a ticket. They force you approximate how much time you think you will need in a space and charge you for it (extending the time in a space is great if you're physically or legally allowed to able to access a phone or a computer), they won't allow you to be refunded for unused time, and then on top of it all if you have to move to a different parking space they won't allow you to pay for a space in the same zone until the time has expired on the space you already paid for- no option to tell the website or app that you've left that space and want to start a new one. The website, app, and support are unable to help in a scenario like this- the company is greedy and ultimately stupid for not allowing someone to pay for more spots (just terrible all around). read more

If I could give this company a NEGATIVE 10 stars, I would!!! In hopes of getting a better response from the app that was not working, I signed up for the business account. I was charged a "subscription fee" of $41.76 AND a monthly fee of $35.96 ON TOP OF THE PARKING FEES!!!! FOR WHAT??? Parking on the same street as everyone else?? There is NO benefits to signing up for the "Business Account" or any other account with this company that KNOWS NOTHING OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

I parked at the X Street parking lot in downtown Sacramento. It has a Pay Here sign by Parkwhiz. I scanned the QR code and paid the fee of $12 for the day. When I came back an hour or so later I found I had a ticket by Park Mobile. Apparently, both companies run this lot and both have to be paid?! There wasn't any signage I could see for Park Mobile, just the main signs on the pole in the center of the lot. It should be a lot more clear that two companies are running this lot and both expect to be paid separately. read more

Park Mobile is a scam. First the validation from the business did not work. The restaurant staff told me that their customers were having problems using the validating piece of the puzzle. I complained to the vendor who couldn't seem to help me. Some AI service out of Atlanta. Second, I just received a notice of a deal, a fancy schmanzy polo shirt. This is a horrible app. Boycott it. I accidentally parked in the wrong zone and they charged me $115 for a $2.50 parking spot. I called right away, but nobody answers the phone and you get a standard AI response. Another year of reserving a season parking pass with Parkmobile! I logged in 2 minutes before the passes went on sale. I reserve my location and then went to check out. As a prior user my credit info autofilled into the Payment detail section, but stayed gray in color and would not highlight for me to pay. Fast forward after 19 emails and 11 calls to try an reach a customer service rep (note: 9 calls i received " not available" messages and 2 calls ended after entering 1 for English) I finally got through only to be on hold for 1 hour and 5 mins! In the process I lost my parking location reservation be it sold out. The customer service rep informed me they have many peoples calling about this matter. However, individual passes would be sold in July and I could possibly purchase one for each individual game. As a session ticket holder this is not an option for a UGA game. read more

This is truly a piece of shit company. I used the app to park in Parking Structure 2 daily at UCLA. Then reps from ParkMobile started calling me two or three times daily begging me to upgrade to a monthly subscription service where I'd save at least one dollar off every time I parked. I eventually did. Now. I no longer need daily parking structure parking. So I called to cancel. One. Can't get anyone on the phone, which is curious because lots of different ParkMobile employees called me to upgrade. But now that I want to cancel they are hiding like the pieces of shit they truly are. So I had to go the chatbot route. Got some clown named Diego K. This assshole says "We cannot downgrade your [paid] membership to a basic [unpaid] membership. Additionally, we cannot provide you a refund for [your monthly] membership fees..." My reply. "You're the company. What do you mean you can't downgrade my membership?" I mean downgrade it like you upgraded it, it's that simple. Anyway. Had to go to the trouble of filing a dispute with my credit card company and ban any further charges from PMUSA. I entered all necessary info, including reservation to/from dates and payment details, and then clicked to 'Reserve' and Pay. JUST. SAY. NO. (to scammers) This predatory company clearly aims to take advantage of people who are parking, paying, and too much in a hurry to read the fine print or listen for the red flags. It feels like getting a call from someone claiming to be a representative from your bank and you're too distracted to notice what's going on, so you give out your personal info. Red Flag 1: The app will not let you pay as a guest. You MUST create an account. Other companies let you shop and pay as a guest if you are an occasional user; why should this be any different? Why must we be forced? Red Flag 2: I wanted to pay with my American Express card. They only take Visa and MasterCard. Small mom & pop stores, yes, I get it, AmEx is more expensive and you take only the major cards. This is not a mom & pop. Plus, I'm not giving them my debit card so that they can help themselves to whatever's in my bank account. There's a reason I use my AmEx for payment apps and online purchases. Red Flag 3: I asked whether my credit card info would be stored if I gave the credit card number. I was told yes, it would automatically be saved and there would be no way to undo it, except to delete the app. Hmm, deleting the app, that won't necessarily delete my account or info linked to it, right? Red Flag 4: When I called the customer service hotline, there is no option to speak to a representative. I pressed a few buttons and eventually got through to somebody after waiting for about 6 minutes. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. All around fishy, but thankfully, I didn't take the bait, told them that I could not give them my credit card number, and ended it there. And then, I paid for my parking the alternate way: Cash is still king. read more
