This is another of those payment scheme apps that towns are turning to instead of having, well, what are those called...functional parking meters. It's not hard to install the app, but there's several flaws in the process, so when you are in a hurry setting everything up because you didn't know the town uses it, you have issues. Make sure that you're license plate is entered correctly, because after you start a parking session, you can't change it nor can support. The app also didn't like my one credit card for some unknown reason. Let's talk about support. Website? Useless. Chat form? Useless. Helpdesk ticket? Useless. Phone call? Super useless. There is actually no one here to help. Whoever owns this company and towns using it are the only ones benefiting from this app, not the customers. Parked in a lot in the early evening. Turns out there was no parking charge at that hour BUT parkmobile felt it hjad the right to charge me a fee for telling me that. Tried to discuss with its customer service, bith AI and human, to no avail. ParkMobile. Awful company. Financial predators. Cowards. And overall miserable human beings. Here's my story. I parked daily at UCLA. Parking Structure 2. I paid $16/day. I sometimes used the freestanding meter in the structure but then started using the ParkMobile app for added convenience. ParkMobile "reps" started calling me two and three times a day. "Please upgrade to our ParkMobile Business Pro Account. It's $8.99/month which gives you $1 off per parking fee, and will save you $21/month since you park everyday." I finally relented. Signed up. What they don't tell you, is if you have more than one car on your account, they charge you $8.99 per car, not per single account. I have a main car but I also rent cars too and add the license plate to the account because that's what the parking patrol people use to see if you paid to park there. So they charged me $17.98/month. I eventually changed jobs, left the area and no longer need daily parking structure parking. So I called ParkMobile to cancel, just like they called me and signed me up, and...silence. Can't get anyone on the phone. So, had to go the chatbot route. Got a message saying, it's a 5-hour wait just to chat. Finally, sent a service request to cancel my paid subscription account. Got a clown named Diego K who emailed me a response... "Unfortunately, we cannot downgrade your [paid] membership to a [unpaid] basic membership. Additionally, we cannot offer you a refund for your membership fees..." My response... "What do you mean you can't cancel my membership? You're the company. Of course you can." Just like they signed me up for the membership, they should be able to cancel the membership. At any rate. Called my cc company. Filed a dispute. And banned any further charges from PMUSA. ParkMobile is a piece of shit company and the worst company in the United States of America. read more

Park Mobile is a scam. First the validation from the business did not work. The restaurant staff told me that their customers were having problems using the validating piece of the puzzle. I complained to the vendor who couldn't seem to help me. Some AI service out of Atlanta. Second, I just received a notice of a deal, a fancy schmanzy polo shirt. You have to buy $75 worth of clothing in order to get the shirt. This is called bait and switch. read more

I parked at the X Street parking lot in downtown Sacramento. It has a Pay Here sign by Parkwhiz. I scanned the QR code and paid the fee of $12 for the day. When I came back an hour or so later I found I had a ticket by Park Mobile. Apparently, both companies run this lot and both have to be paid?! There wasn't any signage I could see for Park Mobile, just the main signs on the pole in the center of the lot. It should be a lot more clear that two companies are running this lot and both expect to be paid separately. read more

Terrible. Parked in parking structure at St Armonds Circle,Sarasta. Used their app and it located my car. I purchased the two hour parking. $17.00. I thought is was excessive and spoke to the parking attendend. He told me I paid for the wrong zone eventhogh that is what the app showed. He reommeded I purchase a new permit for the corrert zone and contact Parkmobile for a credit for the wrong zone. I did and paid the correct $2.00. I contacted Parkmobile and they refused to credit my account eventhough the error was caused by their app. I am disouting the charge with my credit card company. This is truly a piece of shit company. I used the app to park in Parking Structure 2 daily at UCLA. On Wednesday, June 11 2025 at 12:33PM PT I logged into ParkMobile app to reserve parking in Park Mobile zone 9763. At the bottom list of navigation items in the mobile app I clicked the button 'Reserve' which opened a browser to complete the transaction. I entered all necessary info, including reservation to/from dates and payment details, and then clicked to 'Reserve' and Pay. The appointment started immediately after booking the reservation, instead of for the dates entered within the app: 6/26/25-6/29/25 (4 days). I called ParkMobile directly at 877-727-5457 and spoke to Elva B. and expressed my concerns. She opened a case and told me that I could not speak directly with a manager. Then, she hung up on me. Now they refuse to answer my calls. This company is deceptive, rude, and unprofessional. They're borderline thieves that lack ethics and any customer care. boo!!! read more

Used their app from the office to try to get cheaper parking close to where I needed to be. It took my money. When I get to the location, no spot anywhere to be found. I write to them to try to get my money back... no chance. They are happy to take my money and say it is "impossible" to refund. (???) On several occasions this app randomly charged my credit card after I left my parking space, forcing me to lock my credit card and request issuance of a replacement card. Why municipalities conspire with ParkMobile is a mystery. JUST. SAY. NO. (to scammers) This predatory company clearly aims to take advantage of people who are parking, paying, and too much in a hurry to read the fine print or listen for the red flags. It feels like getting a call from someone claiming to be a representative from your bank and you're too distracted to notice what's going on, so you give out your personal info. Red Flag 1: The app will not let you pay as a guest. You MUST create an account. Other companies let you shop and pay as a guest if you are an occasional user; why should this be any different? Why must we be forced? Red Flag 2: I wanted to pay with my American Express card. They only take Visa and MasterCard. Small mom & pop stores, yes, I get it, AmEx is more expensive and you take only the major cards. This is not a mom & pop. Plus, I'm not giving them my debit card so that they can help themselves to whatever's in my bank account. There's a reason I use my AmEx for payment apps and online purchases. Red Flag 3: I asked whether my credit card info would be stored if I gave the credit card number. I was told yes, it would automatically be saved and there would be no way to undo it, except to delete the app. Hmm, deleting the app, that won't necessarily delete my account or info linked to it, right? Red Flag 4: When I called the customer service hotline, there is no option to speak to a representative. I pressed a few buttons and eventually got through to somebody after waiting for about 6 minutes. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry. All around fishy, but thankfully, I didn't take the bait, told them that I could not give them my credit card number, and ended it there. Beware...We reserved a parking spot last Thursday, 8/28/2025 for a concert. The pass allowed us to get in and park, but when the concert was over, our pass said it had expired. We pressed the help button, which was useless!! He kept asking for a number that was not on my ticket. He said to find the number he needed and call back. In the meantime, we are sitting with the bar down, unable to exit the parking lot. When I used my email to exit, it wanted more money to get out.
