Took on our large development project and demanded money up front for the first phase, part way through the first phase wanted more money for the second and the third phase. His aim is to con you out of as much money as possible and then walk of the job and demand more money to return. The work he did do was of extremely poor quality and had to be redone from scratch. He has done the same to many other customers and has a string of ltd companies that he hides behind and then shuts down.

Professional con artist…read more This man appears trustworthy, smart and reliable on first impressions. He has a portfolio and professional cards. I can assure you this is all smokes and mirrors. He gave me an initial quote which was too high, I advised him that I had been offered a cheaper quote and he said he would match it if I went with him. His Wimslow address is just a postal address and he does not have his business there. If you look on Company House website he has folded five previous businesses just changing the business name slightly. He keeps trying to have my reviews removed from the websites but gets no where. He also claims that he is part of South Ribble round table and that he is an honest man. Perhaps the round table don't know how dishonest this man is. I have paid him over 15,000 for a roof that leaks, brick work that is uneven. My five year old could have done a better job. I also paid him £5000 for bi-fold doors that I never received. This man believes that he is a reputable person and that's the sad part he can't see that he is dishonest. I have had other builders who have said that the entire roof needs rebuilding as he is a cowboy. Anyone who would like to see photos as evidence I am happy to show them.

This company are crooks! I went in to BG Fencing, asked for…read moreadvice on how to hang wrought iron metal gates to gate posts, and attach to closed board fencing. I even brought a picture of the gates to show what size they are and the fittings I needed. They sold me 2 concrete gate posts (at first the yard man said a concrete end panel would do the job). I bought these gate posts at 4.50pm and by the time I got home and was advised by my husband that these would crack with the weight, they were closed!. I went back at 8am the next morning to return them for a refund. I was told that I had to drive them over to the other yard, and then drive all the way backto the office for my refund. Then I was told ther was a 20% RESTOCKING CHARGE!!! Even though I took them over to the yard myself and literally parked 1ft from the stock of gateposts! Can't believe they charge 20% on a refunded good, which I have had to take to restock myself, and also, if they gave me good advice in the first place, I wouldn't have bought them!
