Our first room (122 executive) was located under the gym where you could hear runners on the treadmill and others working out. The second room we tried (#4 king suite) and spent the night in, was attached to the ceiling of the their main dining area. It's larger than the executive but noise easily filters thru from the restaurant below as does the smoke from the fire pits in the patios. Our second and last night in the third room #125, across the main dining room was ok. What drove us to cut our reservations short (planned on 6 nights but only stayed 2), was the live music show that blasted straight into our room and lasted until close to mid-night. The band played loud pop music all night and their sounds pushed thru all the walls in this hotel. We were tired from flying intercontinentally and spending time with family. This is not a place for peace quiet. The wifi is weak and the food and wine average - nothing selective or special.

Breakfast is included- and is elegant and rich- hard boiled eggs, meat/cheese tray, bowl of breads, and coffee/juice. Would prefer to have been given choices only not to waste such great food. I find after traveling for many days I sometimes want something plain for breakfast such as oatmeal, plain scrambled eggs or simple bowl of fruit. Room was large- 2 full size closets plenty of hangers, shelf space, robe provided. Fireplace which warmed things quickly. Nice Neopresso machine in room with glasses and beautiful selection of coffees- too bad there were no directions on how to use it- so I didn;t. Big cozy towels, comfortable beds. Plenty of outlets for charging all those electronics we travel with. Bathroom is modern- big tub in room- shower/toilet glass-sexy for traveling with your companion- not so much for family travels. Staff was extremely helpful- carrying bags-checking in, finding parking and in general very attentive to those staying at the Hotel. There is an excellent restaurant on site that is packed every night so be sure to let staff know if you want to eat there. Music from the restaurant does vibrate upper sleeping rooms- so that may be something to consider when booking. Unfortunately I did not have time to see if the location was walkable to shopping, other restaurants or area attractions. Nijmegen seems to have a vibrant city with a lot happening- the restaurant was packed both nights i stayed there. This is definitely a property to stay at when visiting this part of the Netherlands- Thanks to an excellent staff!!

Clean rooms with stuff not properly working here and there like lights or water flooding the bathroom after shower. A bit noisy. Average bar, ok restaurant. I stayed here because I had to work at a data center right down the road. The restaurant was ok for dinner but if you have the option to drive somewhere else, I would opt for that. The room itself did not have any climate control whatsoever, I found that to be a bit strange, otherwise the room was ok and clean, the pillows were not so comfortable though. My biggest complaint is the Internet connection was terrible. I was able to connect to the network ok but the speed was really really bad, we are talking 5 minutes to load a basic news page, no joke. Basically it was unusable and for me a hotel with no WiFi, bad WiFi, or pay WiFi is a deal breaker, period. The next morning though... wow, I have never seen a breakfast in a hotel of this level to be so nice. Man! The selection and quality was incredible. I stacked my plate sky high, there was so much to try. Really, if they could get their act together with the Internet then I would give them a much higher rating, that breakfast was bomb!
