Excellent place to stay! We camped here for two months (Nov-Dec 2024) in a 43' Class A in a lot…read morewhere we could see the gulf from our front window. Most of our neighbors were retired full or part timers. All sorts of rigs from camper vans to largest class As were normal. Monthly rate is reasonable for the location, reservations/check in are easy and check out is a breeze (just drive away). It is very dog friendly with a small dog park on the east side (the resort is in two halves). The management is easy going, keeps the resort fairly clean, and even have provisions for easy check in after hours. The lots on the east side are smaller, but we liked them better because most have a little bit of grass for our dogs to use. For privacy and quiet, the best lot is #12. We think the next best are 30-33 (close office/laundry/showers), but not right against the dumpster. 4-11 are quieter and against the fence shared by the hotel next door; but they are a little farther from the dumpster and office. My only caveat is that there is some noise from US Hwy 90 (can be very busy and noisy) and the road that bisects the resort (this road leads to an apartment complex). So, if you are a little farther away from these roads, your stay can be quieter (lot #12 is just right). Downtown Biloxi and Gulfport are very close, Mississippi Coliseum is a block away, and there is a Waffle House about 50 feet from the resort. Walmart and Rouses are just a few miles away. RV washing services visit the resort regularly and for a large class A were $200-300 for wash/wax. Very nice beach across the highway and a fishing pier within an easy walk. This place is our first choice when we visit the Biloxi area.

There are 2 lots just separated by a small road. The second lot has the pull throughs and it also has a pool, fire pit and covered seating. There are a few bathrooms at the second pool, but they are bare bones and look like an afterthought. There is no store on site and the workers have been ok, not friendly, but not rude. The grounds are well maintained. There is a Waffle House on the corner and they give the RV guests a 10% discount. We paid extra one time for a site with a gulf view. Don't do that...the gulf view is on the opposite side from where your awnings are situated and there really is no view if you're sitting down anyway. We had a gulf view on the second lot that we didn't have to pay extra for. *They have a 10% Military Discount!

We did not access the restrooms or laundry so I can't account for that. We were issued slot 47 and are in a 40'er. The roads are pretty narrow and there were vehicles parked all over the place. After having 2 owners move them we were able to swing into the slot. There were outside slots allotted to smaller rigs that could have easily parked into our slot without a problem. The staff and camp host were very friendly and helpful as we maneuvered in. That said, if you're 40 ft or over, I recommend asking for the slots circled on the map photo as there would likely be no obstruction getting in. There is an enclosed dog park, children's park and splash pad (which also has covered picnic tables) within walking distance. Would recommend and will be back if we are in the area. For $26 it was worth the price. You can get a beachside slot at another park for about a hundred bucks but well, being on a fixed income we will just drive the rig to the beach and hang out for a couple hours

My experience with him has been nothing short of combat actions. My husband is retired U.S Army 100 percent service connected veteran. He currently is battling early onset dementia and legal blindness. One night about two weeks ago he went to the restroom and got turned around. He couldn't find our van. He went into the laundry room and feel asleep. Camphost Rick went into laundry room around 3am and found him sleeping. He told him he couldn't sleep in there and my husband went to sleep next to there camp fire. My husband told Camphost Rick that he had a verbal argument with me so that's why he was sleeping in the laundry room. For the record I did not have any argument with my spouse that nite. Anyhoo I wake up to find my husband not in the van. I found him sleeping around the camp fire, where he got bit up by every bug known to man! I had to rush him to the ER, where he was admitted for 9 days! ( dehydration, and allergic reactions to the bug bites. Back to the campsite. I was originally dry camping until I found out that Camphost Rick races around in his golf cart around 3 am right next to my van! So I decided to pay for a full hookup site, thinking I would have more peace and privacy. No luck. 2 x I left the camp and came back and some asshole was in my spot! Disconnected my water hose/ electric cord etc. Second time my neighbor decided to have a full blown block party in my spot! Food, kids bikes, cornhole and bbq smoking. I was tired from a long day in the sun and had to deal with that. After I ended the block party. I go to hookup the electric and it was inoperable! So I drove to the office to see if another campsite was available. There were 5. I picked one and prayed the electric would work. It did and I hooked up and went to sleep. I woke up and found a nasty gram from Camphost Rick, that states come to the office at 10am! At that point I crossed the F it line. Something I learned in anger management. I went to find Camphost Rick. He found me first unhooking my water hose from my original site 23. He said to me "What makes you think you can occupy two campsites?" Fast forward this was like 6am. I told him F--- You at least a million times and to never put anything on my vehicle again. At 10am I checked out of the famcamp with my refund in hand. I promised Camphost Rick if I ever see him again I have two words for him in this life and the next. F-U. As far as the facilities are concerned the women's bathroom smelled like they moped the floor with black water. Toilets broken and signs posted everywhere to clean behind yourself. Termites and bugs swarm you at various times in the evening. Heavily wooded campsites FYI. Management plays favorite with the campsites. One night yes otherwise find a better space. Shields RV Park is down the road about 10 miles on the Navy base.

We wouldn't stay there if they gave us a spot !! Also spoke to a " long time " resident who states the manager is a drunk who poisons and kills the the neighborhood cats .. and is extremely volatile. Stated they tried to have warranty work done on their camper and the repair man won't even come in the park because she is a drunk and try's to extort money from them for allowing them to come in the park. And forget washing cars or your camper she wants money for that too. Wish the new owners knew this but she says she doesn't have any phone numbers to contact them ?? Yeah ok NOT We ended up at another park on Hwy 90 they are extremely friendly and actually says that they get a lot of people who says the same exact thing .. DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK

They have long term lots and then a handful that they keep open for those passing through or just staying for the weekend. It feels like all the long term RVs are smashed together in clumps. I wish we were spread out a bit more. Some of the sites are much more desirable. If you have the opportunity, it would be nice to take a drive/walk around and choose your site before you park your RV. Assuming it's available. I don't know how they choose to divide up the lots. There are restroom and shower facilities located on the north side of the property, connected to the office and the lounge. Separated by gender. There is an access code to get into each door. The restrooms are cleaned every single night and they are always in great condition. That is definitely a plus! The showers in the women's room have almost zero water pressure and it's impossible to wash my hair in there. The men's showers have awesome water pressure. Sneak in there if you can find a way. Not that I have any experience doing that... There is a swimming pool that is also located next to the office. It's open all year and looks nice, though I haven't tried it out yet. There is a nice sized, fenced in, dog area located on the west side of the property. It's just a short walk from wherever you might be parked. There are dog bags and a trash receptacle inside for your convenience. Most people pick up after there pets, but there are always those special people who don't think they have to. If you can get with the program, this RV park makes it pretty easy for you. There are also two benches inside the dog park as well as a watering station for your pets. There isn't a separate area for small and big dogs, so make sure you are comfortable walking in if there is already someone there. Two large dumpsters are on the east side of the park and they are never full. I haven't heard a trash truck yet, but they are obviously emptying it very regularly. There are signs everywhere reminding you that you are expected to take your own trash to the dumpsters. The office staff is helpful and available every day from 9-5. If you have outgoing mail you can put it in the little basket at the front desk. You can also have mailed delivered to the park office and it's no problem. They hold it behind the desk for you to pick up. We've been here for several weeks so far and are enjoying our stay.

She stated my kids were throwing rocks, ok, sorry, we had them come inside and apologized- I nor my husband Witnessed this. A few mins later she came back saying our neighbor complained our kids hit their RV with the rocks. We were asked to leave because our neighbors threatened to leave, and they would be staying longer than us and I quote "I would loose money." Fine. At this point, after interacting with her a few times, we were ok with leaving, just not a friendly lady (which our neighbors told us the night before). We found another campsite and packed up to leave. We knocked on our neighbors door and made our boys apologize for anything they might have done because if they did do something we will fix it. Our neighbors had no clue what we were talking about. Said they never complained nor heard anything hit their camper. The lady was super sweet to us and said she was sorry we had to leave. We were refunded our monthly rate. We did mention to owner/manager she should let folks know when they call weeks in advance and say they are coming with children, that it's not a family friendly place. There is nothing there. It's just a solid rock parking lot. May be fine for older folks without children or someone visiting a day or two but not full time. Also note a train runs past about every 15mins! Lastly, they were pretty much empty. For some reason they put us on top of our neighbors. We asked them for a different site and she said, "No. We are full". Yea, ok. The park we are at now was the complete opposite. They are very full but once we explained to the manager what happened at Gulf Haven she said she was going to find us a spot here. Even willing to make phone calls to see if guests were still coming. This may very well be a great park we just feel it needs to be labeled for the older crowd or those without kids.
